I just got my blood work back from the doctor and it says my tryglicerides are almost double normal levels and my SGPT levels are also high.
I am 38 years old and never had serious health problems. I've never smoked or taken drugs and I drink beer occasionally.
But for several years, I've suffered from serious pain that starts right under my sternum and radiates to my center back area. My sister-in-law suffered the same symptoms last year and ended up getting her gallbladder removed. I've always attributed this to heartburn.
About three years ago, I suffered through a period of random hives. At any given time, the hives would appear, mostly on my back and torso, or lip area. Taking over the counter anti-histimine would make it go away.
Then, about two years ago, I started getting a psoriasis on my face (eyebrows, cheek area below both eyes and scalp).
I still suffer from this as I write this message. It comes and goes and I've tried all medicines with no success. My doctor said it's nothing more than eczema caused by an allergic reaction to skin oils. I don't think so.
Could this be my liver and gallbladder? I am a big fan of Dr. Clark and I have her zapper, but I haven't zapped in a year or so. I've never done a liver cleanse.
I also forgot to add that I have suffered from diarreha with certain foods. Whenever I go to a restaurant, the first thing I do is search out the bathroom before I order.
Also, last year, I started getting heart palpitations. I went in for a stress test, Holter monitor, EKG, and ultra-sound and all were normal. My HDL and LDL are normal.
I notice my heart starts skipping beats when I feel my stomach starts working.
Sounds like you have some undiscovered food sensitivities.
You could try an elimination diet to discover what those may be. It is likely that if you indeed have some food sensitivities that it is stemming from a stressed liver. What could be stressing the liver? Heavy metals, candida, toxins in your environment? Does any of this sound plausible?
If I were you I would do a major clean up around the house. Molds, chemicals, cleaners, etc. Then I would start cleansing the colon while going on a diet such as The Body Ecology Diet by Donna Gates. I would also utilize Candex(an enzyme that eats candida) and some good quality micro flora such as Flora Balance powder. Then shortly thereafter I would start flushing the gallbladdr/liver to get things flowing again. This takes time and dedication. If you are serious about your health then you will do what it takes.
If the colon and kidneys are not up to the job of efficiently disposing of toxins then the skin seems to get the extra burden. This could be why you are experiencing these skin eruptions.
My skin is much improved since I started skin brushing and having colonics.
Sauna is also beneficial in lessening your overall toxic load.
I have had several of these kind of symptoms as well. I think it is congestion of the gall and liver which is preventing the liver from clearing properly. From what you say, I would agree that a programme of liver cleanses may address the problem. I have just started on the same, (one flush so far), and got some relief, although I dont think much came out.
The wider question is why the liver becomes congested and there are different theories. I am also on a garlic cure right now to clear any of the pathogens that Hulda Clark sees as the underlying problem. This seems to be helping quite a lot.
My attitude is that it only takes between 3-6 months to go through the various cleansing programmes. If they can restore a good level of health, then this is not a long time. I dont see any alternative.
I often go through periods when I will have palpitations, especially after large meals. After doing a Liver Flush I will get relief from this along with the other benefits (gallbladder pain, etc.) I am not sure how the two are connected but I have done 5 flushes and this has helped with my "heart" symptoms every time. Eating light dinners and stopping any food intake a few hours before bed seems to help too (the majority of my irregular heartbeat problems occur when I am in bed). I too have had several tests done to check my heart, all were normal. I was, however, diagnosed by ultrasound with gallstones.
I also forgot to add that I have suffered from diarreha with certain foods. Whenever I go to a restaurant, the first thing I do is search out the bathroom before I order.

Hi Jeff, sounds like Gallstones to me. Try a liver flush, you've got nothing to lose and most people find their allergies, indigestion and chemical sensitivities start to clear up.
Hi Jeff! I am pretty sure that a Bowel Cleanse ( Bentonite and psyllium: http://www.curezone.com/forums/m.asp?f=105&i=979 and the ole penny post!: http://curezone.com/forums/m.asp?f=105&i=921) to get out all of the toxins and mucoid plaque in your bowel (so that you can elminate and assimilate properly) as well as a Liver Flush will do you a world of good.
But, I'm also wondering if you shouldn't take up yoga or some deep breathing type exercise. (I don't say this to everyone!) Just your sternum/back feeling and the fact that you had hives and skin problems all points towards lungs and stress, possibly? Maybe you really need to sit and really learn how to breathe....? Also, the lungs rules the skin (in chinese medicine) and also grief or sadness...does this fit in at all? Just thought I'd throw that in!
Detoxify and deep breathing exercises.....yes! You'll be all fixed up....
I've been fighting off the IRS for several years for a mistake they made. It's been very, very stressful to say the least, but I am sticking by my guns. They aren't going to terrorize my family anymore.
Well Jeff!! That sounds pretty stressful to me! Would you consider learning some deep breathing sitting techniques? My intuition says it would reeeeally be beneficial to you.
And...stress could be the culprit (heart palpitations, diarrea=anxiety, breakouts...your body is telling you something!)...did all of these health problems dovetail with your irs stresses? If they burst onto the scene at roughly the same time you can be sure this is it....
Diarreha started about 12y years ago, long before my IRS problems. I was eating a lot of Thai food (had a Thai girlfriend), tons of curry and coconut milk. It seems to have gotten better, but certain foods will trigger it. My brother suffered from the same thing. I've tried to figure out if it is certain foods. Can't pinpoint anything specific. My brother is really into cleanses and herbal medicine and he has told me that his diarreha has gone away.
The pain under my sternum started about 10 years ago, again, long before my IRS troubles. The more I read comments here, the more I'm convinced I have gallstones, considering my sister-in-law had the same symptoms and had hers removed.
Hives, heart and psoriasis started close to when I had my IRS troubles. Could very well be stress related. My brother seems to think my liver is has toxins in it and needs to be flushed. The toxins he said are causing the allergic reactions mixed with the stress.
Hi Jeff! Well, yes, it definitely sounds like liver flushing, bowel cleansing and parasite cleansing would really help you out. And maybe once you're cleaner and functioning better the whole irs & stress thing will fade away into the background too! Once you clean your body out it will heal itself and bring itself back into balance...Trust that it will!
Let us know what you plan to do first and what your experience is like...
The only thing I would tell you about your heart is to increase your magnesium. You can easily do this by taking 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of Epsom Salt in a glass of water. I promise--it's that easy!
All of the above suggestions are great! Now, the trick is to jump on the bandwagon and JUST DO IT!!
As you begin your wonderful journey with curezone, you will experience Fear and Apprehension (you think, there's NO WAY I'm going to drink epsom salt and olive oil) to Joy and Jubilation. (when you actually see stones floating in your toilet) As you clear out your colon and you see all that stuff floating in your toilet, it will amaze you.
You will find yourself discussing things on this website you would never tell your Mama or your therapist. But, you can't wait to tell us! It's perfectly normal.
So, read, read, read all you can on this website. Ask any question that you are unsure about. Everyone understands because we were once where you are now and there are NEVER any dumb questions!
Hi, Jeff. My husband has suffered many years with the constant diarrhea. I put him on Dr. Schulz's #2 Intestinal Formula. Don't do the #1 Formula. After one jar of it, he is seeing good results. The diarrhea has stopped and he is cleaning out the plaque at the same time. He told me he is going alot more than he is eating. This is great! This formula also helps with the parasites.
One more thing. I have passed so many stones that I do not know how my liver functioned at all. The body is an amazing thing. I am seeing some of the craziest things clear up. The pores on my face are smaller, dry patches have cleared up. Calmer personality, grey hair diminishing, strong fingernails, my eyes are green again (no brown specs), makeup doesn't make my eyes water anymore, hearing better (figure that one out), sleeping better, lines on my face are becoming fainter, edema is gone, no more brain fog (my main complaint)and the list goes on. Listen to the people on this site, there is a world of knowledge here. Oh yeah, I NEVER had ANY gallbladder/liver pain.
