Hi! I did my first Liver Flush with much success this past weekend~see pic! I felt really, really GREAT for the three days after that. I am aware that my symptoms would return as the stones move, etc., and am looking forward to my next one!
I went to the gym today and did some light weight lifting, not much. I do have Hypogycemia and was surprised that it hit me so hard after this workout.
I have a "Fatty Liver" and am trying to eat mostly raw vegan foods. Does anyone know if flushing and/or eating more raw foods helps clear a fatty liver?? Please, I want to prevent any damage to my liver. I am 46 and going through menopause (according to my OBGYN - blood tests).
Congrat.I have same things fatty liver and probale hypoglycemia and I di my LF last weekend .I got some green stones .Though I have not felt energy afterwards so far.But I am planning my next one in 10 days.
Try some soothing herbal tea like chammoline/Sienna

Most vegan diets do not help your liver very much, you need raw fats to help your liver.
What do I mean by raw fats? Avocado, 1-2 tablespoons of OO (or some other extra virgin oil) per day, raw coconut cream (from the meat of the coconut). Those are all really excellent plant based raw fats.
The best raw fats come from the animal kingdom, raw eggs, raw milk, raw butter. When I was vegan, my liver wasn't getting any worse, but it also wasn't getting any better. My liver needed raw animal fats to heal.
How many flushes did you do before it changed fatty liver results (ultrasound?)? How did you know it helped your fatty liver?
My work pays for us to have a healthscreening every year that includes an ultrasound of the liver. The past 2 years in a row I have had what they say is a dense reading, the 2 readings (per year) before were clean. She said she could not diagnose, but she said it looked like what some might call a fatty liver and is associated with being overweight. I have gained over 60lbs (I am 5'2", and 46 y/o) in the past 2-1/2 years and am finding it extremely difficult for it to come off, which I have also heard about fatty livers. I also have had other things - just don't feel well in general, fatigue, hypoglycemic, slow to heal, foot pain, etc.
I also did a Master Cleanse about 1-1/2 years ago (one for 10 days and another a few months later for 14 days) and it did not change the fatty liver, as some others have claimed to have success.
I worry that too much yoyo-ing with flushes or cleanses will harm rather than heal. What do you think?
Avocado, cold-pressed Olive Oil, nuts, seeds, young cononuts (water and meat) are my main source of fats and I have not minimized there use - I am wondering if I should, in order to drop some weight? I am thinking that losing weight will help my liver?
Anyway, thanks for responding and any others, please feel free. I could use your wisdom and experience. I wanna live! LOL

I'm not sure when the liver became non-fatty, it's not like I had an ultrasound every month. But it was somewhere between flush #10-25. So we're talking about a flush every 2 weeks for 6-12 months. It's a process!
I know I don't have a fatty liver because I had an ultrasound, which was the initial method of detecting it. Plus, I can feel it. Can't you feel your liver? I can, well, I could.
I know it's helped by the way I feel, my energy, how I recover from exercise/stress/sleep needs, plus lots of other symptoms. I have less stones from LF and they are smaller. Of course my blood tests also indicate that I'm better than healthy now, as opposed to the blood tests when they diagnosed me with liver cancer/hepatitis. And the ultrasound of course. Basically, I'm very lucky but I also had to work very hard as well.
I also did a master cleanse. Imo, the best way to help the liver is the liver flush. Nothing else even comes close imo. I still think liver/digestive tonics are helpful, but they don't clean out the trash like a LF does.
Fasting also didn't clear the garbage out, but it definitely set the stage for other cleansing.

Depends on the cleanse. If you have liver problems, I'd say staying on a constant parasite cleanse (maintenance at least) and doing liver flushes every 2-3 weeks should be your priorities.
I wouldn't worry about the weight too much, worry about what you are eating. It's healthy being fat is the fat is from raw fats.
Like I said, I used and I still use many plant based raw fats in my diet. I like the coconut cream (from coconuts I juice myself) and I have a tablespoon of OO each day.
Raw animals fats are raw eggs, raw milk (unpasteurized), raw meat (organ meats, organic beef only), raw butter (unpasteurized). Raw milk / butter is available in many states, however it may only be available at a local farm in some states.
I feel like eating raw eggs every day helped the most. It's pretty easy, leave eggs sitting on the counter (up to 2 weeks), in the morning crack 4 of them in a glass, add a tiny amount of juice for flavor and drink. Wait 1 hour before drinking/eating anything else. You can mix the eggs with raw milk but I prefer to keep it simple, plus I don't have time in the morning, I have to get to work.
There is a lot to learn about the Primal Diet, if you want to know more you should invest in the book.

I CAN feel my liver, that is why after my first flush I could really feel and notice a difference. Like others have said, it can come back as things move forward in the liver. But, I now believe that this will change my future - as long as I do the flushes for a good while. I have the next 2 scheduled 3 weeks apart, but after that I have them every 2 weeks. I will also post the results (with pictures) as I get them.
I will do the parasite capsules in between and the 100% malic acid capsules (that I made myself) the few days before each LF, with LOTs of water. I may also do Gold Coin Grass (GCG) and other chinese tinctures when I am not doing the Malic Acid, as I remember them. I have Hulda Clark 's book and use the tinctures from sensiblehealth.com. I also have Andreas Moritz 's book and use all this info in combination to get the most out of my flushes.
How I did my first one is based on what I have read and is a compilation of that. I made some notes and did a few things beforehand.
2 weeks before the flush, I starting doing the chinese tinctures - up until I started with the Malic acid capsules that I made myself (see previous posts for quantities and where I got them). I also took some parasite cleanse stuff for the week before, probably not as much as I should have. It is highly recommended.
A few days before the flush, I made sure to drink some herbal laxative teas in the evening, had a professional colonic done on Friday noonish, then did a Sea Salt water flush (non-iodized) - 2 teaspoons per quart of tepid water - drinking it all together, the next morning on the day of the flush (Saturday). I chose to eat very light the night before (no fats) and Saturday morning had freshly made green juice (no fruit or fats) and a fat-free veggie soup(basically trying to keep my meals soft and liquid). I took nothing other that the foods I just mentioned on the day of the cleanse, Saturday.
Here are the notes I made for myself for my flush procedure:
Saturday (cleanse day):
No-fat breakfast and lunch – NO EATING OR DRINKING AFTER 2:00 p.m – you could feel really ill otherwise.
2:00 PM. Mix 4 tbs. Epsom Salt in 3 cups of fresh squeezed pink grapefruit juice (Filtered) and pour this into a jar. This makes 4 servings (6pm/8pm/6am/10am), 3/4 (three fourths) cup each. Set the jar in the refrigerator to get ice cold (this is for convenience and taste only).
6:00 PM. Drink one serving 3/4 (three fourths cup) of the ice cold Epsom Salts (used straw and held nose). If you did not prepare this ahead of time, mix 1 tbs. in 3/4 (three fourth) cup juice now. You may also drink a few mouthfuls of water afterwards or rinse your mouth. Get the olive oil (ozonated, if possible) and grapefruit out to warm up.
8:00 PM. Repeat by drinking another 3/4 (three fourths) cup of Epsom salts. You haven't eaten since two o'clock, but you won't feel hungry. Get your bedtime chores done. The timing is critical for success.
9:45 PM. Pour 3/4 cup olive oil into jar. Squeeze grapefruits and filter to make 1 cup. Add this to the olive oil. Also add Black Walnut Tincture (10 – 20 drops - forgot to do this, will next time). Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery (only fresh grapefruit juice does this).
Now visit the bathroom one or more times, even if it makes you late for your ten o'clock drink. Don't be more than 15 minutes late. You will get fewer stones.
10:00 PM. Get electronic timer. Drink the oil potion you have mixed. Take 4 – 8 (w/insomnia) ornithine capsules (available where Hulda Clark stuff is sold) with the first sips to make sure you will sleep through the night (Also used a straw, although it had a decent taste). Take it all to your bedside if you want, but drink it standing up. Get it down within 5 minutes (fifteen minutes for very elderly or weak persons).
Lie down immediately. (can lift right knee in and put pillow under left shoulder, and/or law on right side) You might fail to get stones out if you don't. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. As soon as the drink is down walk to your bed and lie down on your right side. Try to think about what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 and best for 30 minutes (set timer). You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!). Go to sleep, you may fail to get stones out if you don't.
Sunday:
6:00 AM. (not before). Upon awakening take your third dose of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed.
8:00 AM. Drink another oil mixture, but as big a dose. Pour 1/2 cup (measured) olive oil into the pint jar. Squeeze grapefruits and filter to make ½ - ¾ cup (more is better). Add this to the olive oil. Also add Black Walnut Tincture. Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery (only fresh grapefruit juice does this).
10:00 AM. Take your fourth (the last) dose of Epsom salts. You may go back to bed again or lie down.
12:00 PM. You may eat. Start with fruit juice (I used pink grapefruit).
12:30 PM. Eat fruit (I ate pink grapefruit).
1:30 PM. You may eat regular food but keep it light (I ate plain boiled yellow potatoes, tastes buttery). Or veggie broth with oil. By supper you should feel recovered. May do another oil/juice drink periodically to get more stones out – say 3pm next day (I didn't do this - was getting stones out (not in picture) for the next two days!).
Note: I did start feeling a little ill with headache Saturday evening. I know this to be a symptom of toxin release, so I took some Intestinal Drawing Formula (by HealthForce Nutritionals)- this has always helped me with detox symptoms. It did help.
Days After Flush: Do colonics/enemas whenever and frequently to remove toxins released or headaches and nausea may occur.
For 3 days after this flush I had energy and felt great emotionally. I hadn't felt that good in years!

The following is what worked for me and it is only my experience:
I have purchased from this web site recently (http://www.sensiblehealth.com/Products.xhtml&cy=us): the flush-4 pack and also purchased malic acid (food grade) (http://www.piwine.com/store/product.php?productid=16158&cat=0&page=1).
I used the chinese tinctures for in between flushes and used the malic acid for when you are supposed to drink apple juice before a flush. I purchased capsules from Whole Foods and made them myself (approx. 4 capsules with 1 teaspoon of powder per day), taking the 4 throughout the day. I was very cautious to drink a TON of water with it and over the next 10-20 minutes after taking a capsule, so that it was not too concentrated in any one spot in my system (as it dissolved in my stomach - it is strong stuff!).
I did not want to mix it with water and drink it throughout the day, as suggested to people with candida and hypoglycemia, etc. because I could not brush my teeth everytime I sipped it. The glass bottle that I used the first time for the malic acid water was VERY clean (it removed water spots). After seeing what it did to water spots, I decided to bypass the teeth with capsules. LOL
