You cannot cook with flax seeds. 2. Don't buy any products that contain flax as it was proceseed. 3. Grind only what you prepare to eat immediately. 4. Never eat the seeds whole 5. Only use fresh pressed oils or barleans which is frigerated. But keep in mind anyone with cancer this is not the acceptable way. Budwig instructions is that if you cannot get fresh pressed then use the flax seeds. 1 T. of oil equals 2.5 T of flax seeds. I bring this subject up as one of my clients called me and stated she was using flax seed and ground the entire package. Many are saying you cannot keep it in the frig for one month but this is not correct. You need to eat the flax within ten minutes as per Dr. Budwig. SARA Add To Favorites! You say it is not acceptable for cancer patients to use what? Also, there have been studies saying flax seed oil's ALA can actually increase prostate cancer? What do you think about that? There will always be studies on the wonderfulness of the diet and always critics, I would follow what I felt was best for me and ask your inner child or your heart before making a decision. It has a tightening and shrinking type effect on skin when applied directly onto it and now I struggle to close my eyes when I sleep because of the effect the oil had on my eyelids and also the area just around my eyes has hollowed to the point i can almost directly feel the eye socket of my skull. 8 months has gone by since i used it on my face and I have seen no improvement in my facial appearance so I am writing this just to warn others that may be considering applying "directly" onto the face to not! (unless it is your last resort and you know exactly what consequence it will have on you). I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.. Add To Favorites!
