Hello all- I've been reading through this for a week now. I'm beginning a cleanse on Thurs and have not decided whether master cleanse or water cleanse. A friend of mine and I are going in on this together- she's doing the water cleanse for sure. What I'm having a difficult time w/ is that I hear the water cleanse can make you very and/or unable to function regularly- ie; drive a lot, work in a public office, etc. What do you all think? My notion is that if I do the water cleanse I would only be able to do a week or so w/out getting unable to run my office and employees. If I do the master cleanse, I can operate pretty regularly and do the 28 days that I am interested in doing.
Please- any advice would be great! And by the way- you all are very strong people and I look forward to having the strength and self-awareness it seems this forum portrays.
I am not sure if you will be able to work during a water cleanse, I am on my 13th day on The Master Cleanse and
have been working through it.
What ever you choose, good luck!
I have done a water cleanse in the past, and I never could go for more than three days without feeling very, very weak. The Master Cleanse is a far better cleanse because you are still giving your body the nutrients that it needs so that it doesn't become totally depleted as it does on a water fast. My opinion is that you would not be able to do a water cleanse and still keep working beyond the first two or three days. It just takes too much out of you. I have done the MC in the past for six days in a row and I have never experienced the weakness and fatigue that I did with the water fast. Hope this helps you in making your decision.
My experience with the MC and a water cleanse is that I can stay on the MC a long time. With the water cleanse, I am totally wiped out after five or six days. I felt like I was going to past out on the water cleanse, could barely rise in the morning and was not able to perform my normal duties.
Just want to say thank you to all of you who have responded. The website helped big time, as well as all the personal experience advice. Thanks again to all of you- this is an amazing site w/ so much information and support.
