I am looking for advice for my mother. Recently, she started having blood in her stool. She went to the doctor, and is scheduled for a colonoscopy next week. Her symptoms include red blood in her stool (sometimes she only passes red slimy blood), occasional abdominal pain, and frequent gas. She is fears the worst, has never done any cleansing, and we really don’t know where to start. Should she start with a liver cleansing? Should we start brewing Oleander soup? Would you recommend Oleander soup or Sutherlandia? It seems that Sutherlandia would be an easier way to administer the Oleander, especially when we have never brewed the Oleander soup. Do you prefer one to the other? I am hoping that Toni can help us and give us some directions and guidance. I would like her to start ASAP (before the colonoscopy).
Unless money is a problem I would opt for the Sutherlandia OPC - it is made according to very strict standards by a pharmaceutical manufacturing company for Marc Swanepoel in South Africa. Though I prefer that people purchase directly from the Southerlandiaopc.com website, I do keep a small supply on hand for those whose need is urgent or who otherwise have problems ordering online (and it usually takes 12-20 days to ship from South Africa).
Cayenne tincture might be a good helper for the blood in the stool. I would also suggest Primal Defense to help with digestion issues and help heal the gut and some good digestive enzymes too. I also suggest that you check with Uniquity in the Natural Healing forum for her suggestions on the bleeding and cayenne (she makes a wonderful cayenne tincture by the way) and take a look at the complete protocol I suggest at:
