what do y'all think about a marijuanna allergy related to candida and digestion?
i've had quite a long history with the herb.
more than a couple of years ago the good relationship that we had originally started with became hit or miss. and i would occasionally get anxiety, social awkwardness, loss of speaking skills, fatigue.
but occasionally i would have amazing experiences with the exact opposite symptoms: energy, social buyoncy, fluent speaking/inspiring skills, inspiration. and this is what i was originally used to but it was getting less common.
and then i wanted to stop. and i did. and i didnt. but i used less and less because my body didnt want it anymore. and because the herb had already taught me so much, enough spiritual knowledge to propell me onwards.
and so its been a year since ive smoked a little bit and four years since ive smoked alot. but now i have candida. it was precipitated by a bout of wilderness diahreah caused by i dont know what. but i never got better.
and ive noticed that when ive smoked recently, since having candida, i will get unique symptoms, specifically: profound dehydration (Even when drinking plenty of water and salt, in fact i get more dehydrated the more i drink (swishing in my mouth and spitting works to alleiviate dehydration some but not entirely)), feeling as if digestion has stopped, specifically in my colon, in the upper left quadrant, which has for a long time been a sensitive spot for me, and when i was eating gluten and after i smoked it felt like i was being stabbed in that spot with a knife.
more recently though the effects of smoking will be fine for a couple hours but afterwards when i come down i will get what feels like cramps all over my body in every muscle. like i want to stretch my muscles but cant, and i want to go to sleep cuz its bedtime but am restless and i need to distract myself for 2 hours or more until it goes away. feels like my muscles cant fire electricity correctly-like a mineral deficiency...
ive been taking strong anti-fungals and my ND told me mineral deficiency can be a part of that, but it becomes acute after i smoke.
i also figure it could be heavy metals from smoking or i think maybe im allergic in my intestines(not anywhere else do i feel it) or that candida just really loves when i smoke
but i wonder what role marijuanna has played in causing my candida, which probably was affecting me years before i had diahreah and it became acute. like maybe it set off a gluten allergy four years ago, which i didnt notice, and then chronic fatigue, and then EBV mono, and then candidiasis
no giardia, no crypto, no c. difficile, no ova or parasites
ive been through 4-5 months of anti-viral anti bacterial, and anti fungal, fiber/clay/DE/MSM cleanse with my nd...and i am better but not healthy yet...
while my digestive unrest is a bit better, and i can manage myself better, i seem to be entering into a chronic fatigue/ chronic ebv stage, i sleep 12 hours and wake up tired
im waiting until i get $450 to get a GI effects stool test from direct labs that will dna analyse my stool and supposedly find any known pathogen...hope it will help.
when i take my antifungals or coconut oil, or oxygen natrium muriate (aka dioxychlor which is very nice for fixing my mineral balance) i get even more tired, i think from die-off
i am currently on a 2 week hiatus from meds to figure out if i was getting die off, and i sure was, but my fatigue is persistant all through, even without medicine.
Well that's interesting that you didn't test for any of those wild critters. It looks like you are working with an Nd. What else are you doing there? Have you checked your bowel flora, tried kefir or other probiotics, or done any thorough colon/intestinal cleanses? Has your liver been checked, or detoxed? Any of these could be at the root of the issue, or could at least help. I've posted some links about some marijuana/candida connections. I'm always a bit sceptical of most marijuana studies because you need to know who is funding them and what their agenda is. Often the results are skewed or distorted to continue the ridiculous war on drugs. There may be some food for thought here though.
Use of Recreational Drugs - Alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, tobacco, etc. These drugs stress the liver, the adrenals, and the immune system. The attendant erratic nutrition further depletes well-being and resistance to Candida.
I wonder if it makes a difference what kind of pot you are smoking, or if different sources would matter. Just as i am typing this i thought, "you know what, this could be an allergy." That could explain the strange reactions you are having. Perhaps you could get that tested.
Other than that, there is definitely, at least for some people, a connection between weak adrenals and marijuana and the effects, but mostly that is the mental and or nervous effect. The pleasant sensations can be replaced by anxiety, paranoia etc. Good luck, d
everything we put in our bodies effects how everything works. its all connected. and when you talk about the herbs and more powerful drugs-no matter how we ingest them or come into contact with them-they have profound effects...
for instance smoking a cigarette is a great stimulant laxative, as well as neuro-stimulant (dont try that please, i did not get this information from personal reference, but i can tell you it would suck to be dependent on cigarettes to poop)..
our digestive systems are meant to be somewhat isolated from the rest of the body-to contain toxins and avoid infection- but its function is still wholly dependent on the blood-the oxygen from the lungs- the chemical hormones that signal food has been ingested and needs to begin digestion. for example stressful situations induce cortisol release (a steriod) which depresses digestion among its many other factors
for my marijuanna-related symptoms, i've thought of perhaps pesticide contamination-or fungicide-or gov't funded "herb"-i-cide as for the possible reason for my reactions to marijuanna. but poor food choices, as is more likely the case with heavier more debilitating and addictive drugs, has not really been a factor for me seence ive been a longtime conscious eater-and moreso with marijuanna use
also of late i have noticed and became far more sensitive to the butane fuel from lighters i used to use to smoke with-so thats another thought of the possible cause
--i tried vaporizing recently-which is the heating to under-combustion temperatures causing the evaporation of essence of marijuanna-(and therefore ingesting no butane- and i would judge all of my adverse reactions were no where to be found- so that gives credence to a butane theory
although i am no longer on heavy anti-fungals so perhaps some of my symptoms of late (specifically the nerve-malfunction muscle-cramping )had been related to that treatment...mineral imbalance/ die off a/nd toxic load?
i used to know a woman-my friends stepmum- who was an alcoholic and overwieght- in my opinion a likely canidate for candida- and she claimed to have a marijuanna allergy- so i wonder more.
as for my general health, for two days now i have felt rather great- enough energy to dance and bike and swim and not lay in a sleepy daze all day- and i am thinking maybe a no starch diet was causing my severe fatigue-until 2 days ago i was eating fish-plenty of veggies- and one granny smith a day...i included 1 meal of beans a day, and maybe thats where the energy comes from--an almost all protein diet must be taxing on the body--but i get abdominal symptoms (bloating (maybe inflammation) of the ileum (lower small intestine)) with even a tiny bit of starch so its a trade off- beans seem to be a good medium-i have ate no grain in 3 or so weeks
thanks for all your opinions y'all, i am so greatful to have kind generous people to talk with and learn from
may much joy and love and peace be with you-i am sending it out- and it is coming from everywhere else too!
thats a pretty annoying thing to say on its own, without any elaboration as to what you could mean. people are trying to learn from eachother on here, and not trying to needlessly freak eachother out with the most emphatic yet sparse and potentially meaningless sentences. i would appriciate if you are going to comment, dont just tase people like that (as a taser does).
so...lyme, ticks, fatigue
you have it?
im sorry
ive heard amazing things about vibration treatment or resonance treatment for lyme. just from one personal reference but from someone i trust.
im pretty sure i dont have it. no sore joints and inflammation. no migranes and fever.
ive seen someone on here touting oscillation resonance treatement for candida or dysbiosis...does anyone have any actual personal experience treating with this?
Oooh spicy response. I feel such a righteous stand against fundamentalist tyranny emanating from you. Dare I say I'm proud? However; preaching to the converted who made a common human mistake. I guess I can't blame you, I would probably respond the same way. I was in one of those anxious know it all moods. I'm a chameleon in my emotional realm. Any way, I can't narrow down every thing I have my problems are quite numerous. However I can say that the sensitivity towards marijuana is shared by me. As much as I love the stuff, it makes me go crazy in excess. I guess based on the my current reading bias I saw your story and put my filter over it. Thus producing "Oh dear god read about Lyme!"
Plenty of people blowing up their infections with radio frequencies. Rife Forum has some people documenting their experiences. Among other places that I can't remember at this time. Bryan Rosner of course has http://www.lymebook.com
which gives you a lot of information on this.
