Though not new, I had never seen this video posted anywhere before.
FOX NEWS Reporters (Reporters Steve Wilson & Jane Akre) uncovered the fact that most of the Milk in the USA and across some parts of the world is unfit to drink due to Monsanto Corporation's POSILAC®, which has been proven to be a cancer-causing growth hormone.(known in short as "BGH" "BST" or "rBGH" ), but they were fired for trying to tell people the truth.
This is a nonpartisan video that shows the lengths some will go to further their agendas. It ends with a Florida judge ruling that the news doesn't need to be true. This video is not doom and gloom or conjecture about what could happen, because it did happen. And I'm sure it's not just Fox that has these policies.
This is completely scary. We buy organic milk in our family with no added hormones, etc. but who's to say what's really in it and what brands are legit?
If we could all have a cow, problem solved. Even a community cow or two would help, but people would complain of the smell. I grew up in the country and am used to what most consider "gross" in the air. Unfortunately, I was exposed to processed foods and my health generally declined from the toxic byproducts. I was a healthy child, boy, and teen, until processed foods entered my life. I didn't know any better and thought my parents had some idea of what was in the food.
Lesson learned, trust lost. While people can play the ignorance card, corporations play the maximize profits card without regard for true health.
I thought I was doing the "healthy" thing when I would spend $6.50 on a gallon of organic milk at the store. But we do not know what is in them, and I am so happy I found a farmer who delivers raw milk to me up to twice a week. His milk is certified organic and his cows are grass fed, and they graze and have lots of land. "Happy cows" he calls them.
I now have been drinking raw milk for over 3 months and absolutely love it. I don't know what the rules are in other states but in Minnesota you can get raw milk directly from the farmer. I get my raw milk here if anyone is interested and lives in Minnesota.
The thought of drinking regular milk now just makes me squeamish. I suppose this happens to everyone who tries the real stuff -- they just can't go back!
I do have to admit when I was out somewhere I had some chocolate milk that wasn't raw... but I LOVE chocolate milk (and making it with my raw milk is SO tasty!) but that was once in the last 3 months!!
