Result: My cataract is pretty much gone. My eyesight improved to the point that I had to go back and get my eyeglass prescription changed - what gave me 20/20 vision in late May gave me 20/15 in late August.
But I miss feeling 6 feet tall, which is what happened when I put on my too-strong glasses. Wonder Woman no longer. ;-(
Night glare gone. I think the bilberry did that and will continue to take it.
All around night vision much improved. And I already ate a lot of carrots.
The NAC drops are making a dent in my floaters as well. Big one gone and smaller one appearing less often.
The Dr. claims to have patents in multiple countries and also states:
"The only clinically efficacious Product on the market is Can-C TM available at Can-C.net and N-acetylcarnosine.com. Its Private labels Ocuzyme and Bionational (Nu-Eyes) are also clinically effective to cure cataracts. "
Wikipedia states that:
"Carnosine (beta-alanyl-L-histidine) is a dipeptide of the amino acids beta-alanine and histidine. It is highly concentrated in muscle and brain tissues."
Could a deficiency in beta-alanine and/or histidine facilitate cataracts? Or an elevated level carnosinase, an enzyme that breaks down acetylcarnosine?
I realize that it's not that simple, other factors play roles in a domino effect chain leading to cataracts, among other issues.
