Modern biofeedback machine use similar principles to muscle testing. Instead of testing your arm or finger resistance to certain energy they test pulse rate or skin conductivity depends on the machine.
It is also a part in Applied Kinesiology, certainly in its simplest form of having an energy placed close to your thymus and someone test the change in resistance it works very well. To speed things up machines have been used for decades to test this that are much faster by testing skin resistance and some of the later models like an EFPX take that to another level.
Certainly even for the most polluted the difference in resistance between holding a container of bleach and a container of distilled water are unmistakable. Take an hour with a friend and try it...
i have played with this and cant get anything out of it. the mind is to powerful and too easily swayed. a machine is a much better measuring stick, imo.
I have trained to do Touch for Health.
Muscle testing is used to check the
corrections and with a little practice
is very effective. It is just knowing
what you are looking at. Within seconds
you can test and do it without bells
and whistles and electric cords.
My teacher used Touch for Health a lot
and even taught it to professionals who
then used it, for example, on their
football players to make sure they were
optimally ready for a game.
Muscle testing is completely unreliable. if anyone thinks otherwise devise some tests and report back.
Test it on things you don't know the answer to but can verify later. Then grade yourself. Also use it to predict outcomes such as dice roll or cards. The trouble with it is there are so many interference patterns and influences that it is unpredictable.
Also one of the so called experts that uses it to rate consciousness is a new age agent imho. He has graded George Bush higher then Eckhart Tolle, he has graded Walmart very high, and my favorite is that he tested 911 and found the mainstream story to be accurate. The government is telling the truth in his opinion. Kennedy was shot by a lone gunman and the USA flew to the moon. Yada yada yada. AGENT!!!!
Dr. Hawkins = fraud
So many plants out there you could start a jungle. People eat it up.
BTW Trap, even machines can be influenced due to intent. What we expect we get. This has been proven over and over by quantum physicists
"Also use it to predict outcomes such as dice roll or cards."
This sounds like parlour games. Such questions I believe have the result of giving you inconsistent reads, since, in essense you are causing the message that you are playing around.
But really, Bush? 9/11? (Walmart might test "good" to those who are living at that 'mass' level themselves) Was this all in Power vs Force? was it calibrated by the group, or by him?
I recall liking about 1/3 of that book, and then feeling it went off the rails.
Sometimes, I've noticed that you don't get the truth when it's not within your paradigm - yet. For example, a cat I lost. I questioned for two days, Is ... okay? And I kept getting the answer 'yes'...but I knew he was 'gone' or something, could feel it. Finally it dawned on me--Aha! The question! I had asked about "okay", and he was. But, he was dead. I verified it. Fortunately, we found him, without a mark on his body, he'd died in a flower patch.
(Had been found in one too, as a very young kitten)
I used to always use Muscle testing (the perelandra finger method), or a pendulum (just a bead on a string) to check when my partner would arrive... Not as inconsequential as it might sound. (I do believe we should not play around with the AK--in fact, people are always told that if they do it too much, they will get a lot of 'no's.) This was great, since it eliminated guesswork, and worry. He is -physically- disabled, so his time is not like other people's -- ordinary things take three times as long. Now I just mostly use my own intuition, but what the AK did for me was verify my intuitive nudges. And note how they manifest. Now I can catch them more often--they are the slightest inner shift, (yes/no) much like the way a pendulum will stop dead still, sometimes, and just not move. (related to a subject)
It depends very much on the question that is being asked. One needs to be quite careful in what is being asked and how the question(s) are worded.
The main point with AK is that the body has a tendency to be more truthful... more accurate in giving a straight answer to a 'yes' or 'no' question. Whereas the mind/intellect learns very early on in its development that playing politics is beneficial... hence, it has become very good at the art of deception... deceiving others, and deceiving oneself. So if you are trying to use the mind to deliver the truth, there is a greater degree to which it will return a false answer.
Same with questions relative to time. Time is part of mind, whereas the body is present in the here/now. Questions relative to 'when' something will happen is a question dependent on mind's understanding and its relation to the dimension of time.
The same is the case when using AK to answer questions relative to gambling... rolling of dice, etc. The mind is very much involved in the desiring... the 'wanting' to win.
AK is asking the body for the answer. If one meditates, it may be found that there is more success with its practice.
There is also a matter of the control grid via cell towers and wifi that can code the results.
One really has to go beyond the shared belief systems because once they are on the stage, they are being manipulated.
This is an inside game. Once it gets to the stage (even your body) it's a distortion. Sorry folks, but the dogma of getting correct answers throut the body mind (with the spirit out of the scenario)is just not a trustworthy means of discernment.
Another thing to consider is muscle testing is digital. Digital itself is a distortion of a flowing reality.
Do you really think that soul/spirit would filter itself through a polarity construct of yes and no.
"Same with questions relative to time. Time is part of mind, whereas the body is present in the here/now. Questions relative to 'when' something will happen is a question dependent on mind's understanding and its relation to the dimension of time."
Hmm. If a person is simply asking about this perceptual thing we call time, in a very concrete way, that is; what hour and minute on's close companion will arrive home, this seems to be something easy to get a response to. The thing is, as I said, I always got the correct time, when testing for the time of my partner's arrival. down to the minute, if I needed to know that -- regardless of what he was doing. I had no preconceived desires about the outcome, other than for the 'highest good, in relation to meal prep. etc.
I suppose if I started to want to control him somehow, use the 'power' of knowing when he would arrive, this would mess up the results.
I decided to put this to the test about 7 years ago, i went to one of the best muscle testers in this area, people drive along ways to see her. I took a bottle that i normally tested on and instead of the normal contents i put gasoline in it , and sure enough i tested that i needed it.
This would seem to be the aspect of "integrity" at work, to go by Hawkins' map of consciousness. He says no one gets reliable results if calibrating at less than 200.
Yeah, I KNEW what I brought in the bags...but because all the bags were exactly the same type (lunchbags like the kids used to take to school) and UNmarked...neither of us knew waht I was being tested for at the time of testing.
well, that part I understood, but still I'm not clear the conclusion - are you saying muscle testing worked for you?
any test to be reliable it has to be repeatable at least for some number of times, you know that?
Yeah, I know that. There are very few practitioners that I would trust to get this one right. This doctor (just even agreeing to my "conditions") told me (in my gut) he was the real deal...
When the towers fell, he told me that the small-still voice told him "it has begun". We had so many interesting conversations that once he told me, "I really shouldn't charge you, I enjoy our talks so much."
I laughingly told him, "Then DON'T!"
"Yeah, but I got all these kids, now!"
lolol - I told him I was definitely getting more than my money's worth, and not to worry about it.
One of the cool things he told me was that he believed one of the things we are supposed to do is remember why we are here in the first place. Sure makes sense.
I told him that I believed his skills will be needed in the future, and he'll probably have to barter a lot, and be witness to some horrible things. He confirmed that he believes the same. I really miss our conversations. Sometimes, when I was lying there (early in his practice) with the needles in me, (he's mostly known for his acupuncture abilities) he had the time to stay in there and talk to me.
Sometimes, our talks brought his assistant in looking for him! lolol
Now, I can't call without being given a two-week future window just to get in. The man obviously knows what he's doing. His hands are VERY full.
I don't believe that church healing is not a scam but what I do know is that muscle testing is truely haphazard. some people use this business to make money.
re george bush...(replying to InnerCalm) maybe it was at the time of a changeover to the clone ;-) he was beginning to act erratically, even for GB. The clone wasn't (said to be) much better, but at least represented a slower "degradation" of the material...so to speak. more control.
(or, maybe DH's muscle testing is haphazard)
As for Eckhart Tolle, maybe he was sinking into popularity.
The work, and the ideas were sound, but perhaps not fully realized at a level beyond the intellect.(?) Popularity seems to do the worst things for people. Hitler was thought to be quite evolved, someone who actually had the capacity to awaken in his lifetime, but who chose to, and went the other way. Out of any integrity.
Falling is easy. unfortunately
I have to say, this map of consciousness of Hawkins' lacks a little in the multi-dimensional department. It's very flat.
GB is into (or was) the 'reasoning' realms, the 400's...but that doesn't say what will come of that reason. It's only once into 'love' that things start to come more fully together. And yet, as DH says, 450 is a good place for a president, since he'd be too blissed out to do the job, if higher...and if lower, wouldn't be smart enough. (I have to say, I thought GB would have tested lower too, like 200... but now I think he played stupid, which is a lot more dangerous than being it.) That's the trouble with the world. By the timer anyone gets to seeing reality, into the 500's, they don't want to play the old games... and so there are new (old-paradigm)recruits.
I "calibrate" Obama at 507, as of today, with the feeling he is being sorely tested to remain there.
