belief in jesus is all about faith. faith, or trust, that he is exactly who he is and will do exactly what he has said. what have i given up or lost by believing in jesus? hmmmmm? i'm a much better person for having faith, i could prove that in a number of ways. but for you that do not beleive...can you prove that you are a better person for not beleiving? jesus states that if i believe, have faith in him and lay all my personal sins at his feet, i will have eternity in heaven. i take him at his word. case closed. athiests and agnostics hear the same statement and choose to go their own way. live with it as i will live with my choice. can any of you with straight face state that living without faith is better for myself, better for society, than having faith in jesus and all that involves? i've seen what the ungodly man is capable of...i choose jesus, thank you very much.
I also was forced to vote for myself...didn't want to...but had to punch the chad for myself last year. How Amerika would've been different if I were in charge...lol...
Yeah, move over bacon, now for something new! Ahhh, but America decided they would rather starve to death.
I'm just glad my hope is in Jesus, and He has a plan for all this mess. :)
"I'm just glad my hope is in Jesus, and He has a plan for all this mess. :)"
And that's the rub. Waiting around to have a mess cleaned up that we are responsible for. You will be waiting a long time, meanwhile the controllers who are crafting the mess reamin sitting in the driver's seat. Is it possible they handed you the scriipt of "waiting to be saved" so you on;t interfere with their plans? ;-)
The evil and suffering in this world are greater than any of us can comprehend. But evil and suffering are not ultimate. God is. Satan, the great lover of evil and suffering, is not sovereign. God is.
