I am trying to decide on a parasite cleanse. Since returning from Haiti in mid-march, I have had slight stomachaches, felt fatigued, and even thought I saw some in my poop. I had a little blood in my stool last night. Does that kind of bowel irritaion indicate that I should not cleanse, as it may be too harsh a treatment for my body right now? I was interested in this product "Fresh Green Black Walnut Wormwood Complex" by NOW Foods, as I read some good reviews, and its cheaper than some capsule cleanses. How do I use this for ridding parasites? Also, I thought of the possibility of malaria, and have heard of wormwood being used as treatment.
Any advice or experiences with the black walnut wormwood complex would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
If you have blood in your stool, I think you might want to get a colonoscopy. Nothing to mess with.
Clarkia has all the paracide thingies that you need in it.
Whether you went to Haiti & picked up some especially virulent parasites or not, apparently everyone has them anyway and needs to do a cleanse, & keep up maintainence.
They are ev er y where and as insidious as hell.
Most experts will say malaria is not a gut parasite. I am living proof that this is a wrong assumption.
Having said that, I will still urge you to see a travel medicine specialist. If you did pick up a parasite, this could be a life time thing. It is always best to treat these bugs a soon as possible starting with an accurate diagnosis.
That was basically a caveat, but it has relevance non-the-less.
If you are seeing blood, it "may" be that of the parasite. It happened to me, however, I am in a position to tel the difference.
If you become low in iron, or become anemic, it could indicate a hookworm, which also produce no symptoms sometimes. There are so many parasites, and not all respond to typical de-worming treatments.
What are your primary symptoms since coming back? Shroom
