Need 2nd Opinion with test results and symptoms for my father.

"For the past year 1/2 he's been feeling ill. He found out he has diabetes 2 about a year ago so he's been doing his best to control that. He's lost a lot of weight and eats very healthy now."

It's great that your father has lost weight and is eating healthy but you don't indicate what his blood sugar levels are currently.  If he has a home monitor and is satisfied that his BS levels are under 120 or lower an hour after eating, then it's under control.  Higher than that, and it it isn't.  Individual doctors approach Type II different and if they have the patient follow the American Diabetes Diet it will kill them.  Testing daily is the only way to be sure.  The other end of that dichotomy is hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, which can also go along with Type II.   Most doctors can give a patient a blood sugar tester free of charge.  The company that makes them then makes it up by selling the test strips.

Mild hypoglycemia

Symptoms of mild low blood sugar usually occur when blood sugar falls below 70 mg/dL and may include:

• Nausea.
• Extreme hunger.
• Feeling nervous or jittery.
• Cold, clammy, wet skin and/or excessive sweating not caused by exercise.
• A rapid heartbeat (tachycardia).
• Numbness or tingling of the fingertips or lips.
• Trembling.

Moderate hypoglycemia

If blood sugar continues to fall, the nervous system will be affected. Symptoms usually occur when the blood sugar falls below 55 mg/dL and may include:

• Mood changes, such as irritability, anxiety, restlessness, or anger.
• Confusion, difficulty in thinking, or inability to concentrate.
• Blurred vision, dizziness, or headache.
• Weakness, lack of energy.
• Poor coordination.
• Difficulty walking or talking, such as staggering or slurred speech.
• Fatigue, lethargy, or drowsiness.

Severe hypoglycemia

The symptoms of severe low blood sugar develop when blood sugar falls below 35 mg/dL to 40 mg/dL and may include:

• Seizures or convulsions.
• Loss of consciousness, coma.
• Low body temperature (hypothermia).

Prolonged severe hypoglycemia can cause irreversible brain damage and heart problems, especially in people who already have . If emergency medical treatment is not provided, severe hypoglycemia can be fatal.

Some medicines may mask symptoms of low blood sugar, including beta-blockers, which are often used to treat heart conditions and high blood pressure.

What to think about

Different people may have symptoms of mild, moderate, or severe hypoglycemia at varying blood sugar levels. Although the blood sugar levels listed above are typical, they may not apply to everyone. If your blood sugar drops suddenly, you may have symptoms even if your level is in the normal range.

A number of medical conditions can cause symptoms similar to those of hypoglycemia. Your doctor will use blood tests and other measures to make sure another condition isn't causing your symptoms.

 I recommend having him go to an oncologist to be on the safe side. The elevated lymphocytes and the low neutrophils and platelets can indicate several cancers including leukemia. Some of the general symptoms are also fitting. 

Otherwise based on the symptoms and abnormal lab results I would say some type of viral autoimmune disease.

My suggestions would be

1) Consider supplemental magnesium.  What you listed matches some of the symptoms of deficiency in magnesium and it is estimated that anywhere from 80 to 95 percent of us are deficient in this vital mineral.

2) Take a look at oleander.  The supplement Oleander OPC increases white blood cell counts and has had wonderful results against many forms of cancers as well as autoimmune disorders.  Oleander has been particularly effective against leukemia and bone cancer. Furthermore, oleander has helped many people with diabetes be able to control diabetes with diet alone.
