I read someones message saying that their teeth (the front 8 at the edges) became transparent after oil pulling. I have only just started oil pulling and was startled to read this and wondered if anyone who is a long term oil puller had the same thing happen? Would something else have caused this? Cheers
It has been said that OP has brought some issues up. Once the tartar and the plaque start clearing up, you may see thinks lurking underneath. At least that's what we figured.
You might want to check out Earthclinic.com too. They have a huge thread on OP with dissatisfied customers. I guess you need to decide if any of their posts resonate with you.
I personally don't think that OP is strong enough to do all the miracle cures, or all the horrible problems people seem to think it does. It simply relieves your mouth of harmful bacteria. Not to much to over think when put that simply. I've read where people said they sucked their fillings out. I'm like what? To me they must have had turbo vacuum sucking when OPing.
I guess you need to wonder what organs in your body are being harmed by the bacteria in your mouth and gums? The supposed miracle cures could very well be those organs getting a break from the backwash of bacteria. That's when it all seems to make a great deal of sense....
Don't know if it's a miracle cure or not but it's certainly doing something good for the body, after 6 weeks on it I have to reduce my thyroid hormones cause i'm a bit hyperthyroid now, it was stable for months before that.
Guess it's helping my thyroid heal itself. Let's hope it continues this way, I'd like to be pills free!
My hypogonadism is fixed also, I'm off testosterone shots :)
Add that to a better mood, no more white coated tongue and better gums, I can only be please. I believe is it fighting my CFS now, let's hope it improves.
I am oil pulling for over 2 years .I also have the same issue of transparent teeth .Otherwise it is helping in stregthing the teeth and overall feeling of better health.
