Eye problems are my predominant only major candida symptom not gastro related.
I have eye floaters, sleepy eyes, bruised around my eyes sometimes, pain around eyes or in eye, or feeling that something is in my eye (like an eye lash).
Is this candida related? Is it related to liver/intestinal stress? What is the best way to get this symptom to subside because it effects everything I do all the time....
Could this also be parasites? Could it also be something else? It is directly related to my bowel movements. And when I see white specks/seeds in my bowel movement I have worse eye problems.
I have been wondering the same thing. I have had a candida issue for a long time. I suffered from Adrenal Fatigue 3 years ago. At one point my legs where giving out from under me for about a year I didn't sleep at all. Anyone it put major stress on my immune system. About that time I got bags around my eyes. Then I started feeling like I had something in my eyes all the time. I thought it was just me being more sensitive to pollen or dust in the air. I really noticed at night when I go to sleep. So last week I started wondering if candida effects your eyes?
I just replied to a later post about Hulda Clark 's ideas on eye problems and parasites. If you have cats or had cats in the past it may be Toxoplasmosis, or one of the other numerous parasites which can infest the eyes. Some of the programs on the Liver Flush Support Forum which have parasite killing programs may be helpful.
what tests have you had done? I know candida directly effects the eyes, Ihave blured vision on and off and bad floaters since having all this and my eyes check out perfect when they auto check them. Ialso considered parasites and did two cleanses but nothing changed so think mine is all candida realated. But I never had the feeling of anything in my eyes or what you discribe.
An ND tested me for Toxoplasmosis and I took several bottles of homeopathic drops which greatly helped my vision. I have two cats but no catbox. Last year I fed the indoor cats of a neighbor and over time my vision declined, I had some occasional pain and it felt my eyes were swollen. I got another bottle of homeopathic drops and after only three doses my eyes feel a ittle better. I've also been taking 60 mg zinc daily and increased vit A, eyebright capsules, eating more carrots and winter squash and have done a liver cleanse. I do parasites herbs routinely. I also use Hulda Clark's Zapper.
Well I do have cats! Four of the sweet little critters. I think your right. It also could be a higher allergic reaction because years ago I was tested to be slightly allergic to cats. The last 4 yrs my immune system has been down because of Adrenal Fatigue and candida. I am over the Adrenal Fatigue and Candida now. I have done several detoxes in the last 2 yrs and I just finished another parasite cleanse. It didn't really help my eye gook. I also tried the mite approach with no results either. I alsod examine my my eye discharge under a microscope and did not see any thing moving around. Maybe it is just cat allergies but I will see if ridding my eyes of parasites helps.
You may want to be tested again for cat allergy - the newer tests may show a stronger reaction. You might ask on one of the allergy forums if others have been able to stop reacting to cats after self treatment. There are some eye drops which suppress the immune reaction - an allergist might help you live with your cats.
Hulda Clark wrote that if you have had a Toxoplasma then you will keep getting reinfected as long as you have cats and especially if you have an indoor cat box. Cats can be cleared of the parasite but as soon as the herbs are stopped they will be reinfected within a few days.
