Since my discovery yesterday, I have been wondering if I have had these flukes for some time, and are they are just in a reproduction cycle enabling me to detect them? Or, is it a new infection.
One thing is certain though, they are very small. The eggs are resistant to positive ionic exposure, which means they are likely fending off antibodies and other immuno-active proteins. The "hatching" of the eggs are not like I would expect. The eggs just develop into the larger mature forms.
It is interesting that some stages are missing, but it could be from species adaptation to host.
I have an opportunity to observe the developmental patterns of this parasite until I find effective treatment.
I think the parasite is confined to intestine, but no real way to be sure.
This experience will make it easier for me to have a better understanding the the cycles, and thus allowing me to have a better eye for detection in other peoples samples that I work with.
For example, the eggs seem to secrete a small spore-like object. Could this be part of the cycle not detected before?

Shortly after starting to take DE, I passed what appeared to be a whole Liver Fluke. Now I don't know how that makes any sense at all but that's what it looked like. Unfortunately that was when I was still horrified by what was coming out of my body and before I had a decent camera.
How would liver flukes effect the liver enzymes? Mine were below normal at 2, then just into the normal range after taking a round of meds. It seems to me that if I had liver flukes, my enzymes would be elevated. Any thought on this from anyone?

It this fluke debris? It looks like an egg or larvae in it.
And my latest 'what is it' came from my mouth. It may be stained with tea and would normally be clear.
Hi San. Does not really look like fluke. Go on youtube, there are a number of vids that show the real deal--it's kinda creepy though.
The real guys should be very flat, and should be still alive. If not, you can culture them. These creatures will regenerate. If you cut them into a million pieces, there will be a million new ones.
The stuff you show, looks like a type of mucus the bowel makes when there is an infection, and there could be seeds or other undigested things that look like parasites. Shroom
You've probably had liver or intestinal flukes for many years. They form huge colonies, & encysted ones live 10-20 yrs.
Usually you're asymptomatic until you pass them in a stool. They look like curled or rolled-up tomato skins, leaf-shapes, flattish brown pods, or brown sticks. So, you know have them when you see them! (lol)
These are the most common flukes ~ the pics show them flattened out so that details are clearly defined to ID them:

Save your $$ on buying Tricla/Egaten tabs or Fasinex suspension. They're used for Fasciola hepatica (Sheep Liver Fluke), Fasciola magna (Deer Liver Fluke), & Fasciola gigantica, which are endemic in overseas countries. I'd recommend taking this drug only if you have a positive lab test confirming infection!

Hi ICU. Thank for the info. These fluke are small, and likely just intestinal type, but it's premature.
I was lucky to find the eggs, because my inspection today was negative. At least I know they're in my body. I am going to have to really examine what the deal is here.
If I can isolate the eggs, maybe I will be able to create experimental antibodies which I can conjugate iluminecent probes for future tests. Shroom
Please help me with this worms problem that I have:
I feel them moving above my belley button and also near my cheast (ribs), they are nipping and making sounds, I feel bloated no matter what I eat or how much I eat, I'm tired most of the time and have problems sleeping well during the night, I have a bad breath (it's more intense when I sleep), I don't feel the right taste of the food...
I took several stool tests and they all were negative, except for a H. Pylori which I already treated.
I made also a blood test for Fasciola Hepatica and it was negative.
After all this, I started to take pills like: Praziquentel (I took 1 tablet in plus and I throwed up 4 times - horrible experience), Albendazole, Vermox and the symptoms didn't go away. I took several natural treatments ( Hulda Clark , Wormood, Cloves, Ginger, Humaworm) and the symptoms are still here, worst than before, it's like they got stronger.
I think I have Fasciola Hepatica (even if the blood test was negative), because I feel bloated right after I start to eat.
I did a colonosopy a few months ago and the colon was clean (but the doctor stopped at the hepatic angle because I had pains, so she didn't see the ascendic colon, the cecum).
What should I do? should I try Egaten? will this solve my problems?
