The issue that the government has with this product is multifaceted.
It is not classified a medicine nor has it the approval as a medicine, however, it is being proclaimed as "curing" cancers and diseases, (even though millions of cases shows that it does), it should not be marketed as such. (although it is very non toxic and extremely efficient at killing the causative pathogenic organisms at a rate far surpassing ordinary chlorine and without the toxic byproducts of chlorine and ozone therapy) that are causative of all human disease. The approach to presentation is all that needs to be changed. The current form of blogs and forums are fine due to the protection of "authorship" provided by the U.S. Constitution and upheld by the Supreme Court in very recent rulings that addressed the issue of blog comments as presented by the ACLU that basically states that websites such as blogs and social forums can not be held responsible for the articles, replies, and comments of "visitors" to such sites.
Blogs and forums such as this one would be the legally accepted format to promote the "curative" claims of "the people" and not the sellers of such a product.
Sedona Health Labs Inc.'s issue with this product specifically relates to the cost of the product being charged by "unscrupulous" hawkers of this product.

MMS is 22.4% sodium chlorite. You keep referring to it as sodium chloride. There is a difference.
You may also want to go a step further and educate on how many drops of 22.4% sodium chlorite are needed to mix up a 1 PPM concentration in half a glass of water.
You may also want to explore the difference between chlorine dioxide and acidified sodium chlorite. They are quite different. Your articles are excellent for chlorine dioxide, but do not relate to acidified sodium chlorite solutions.

It was only a typo, and yes I do completely understand what sodium chlorite is and the mixture content of it in relation to the mms solution.
I do not need to elaborate on the specifics of "how many drops" as this is well documented in literally thousand of very helpful webite sources accross the web today.
I also am very aware of the effects of acidic activators as is clearly defined not only on our website but also very clearly shown on the website for Dupont Chemical, (who by the way is the manufacturer of sodium chlorite in north america) and that this causes the solution to exhibit many of the "unpleasant" residual effects of consumption, while Chlorine Dioxide prepared with the blending of sodium chlorite and certain "rare earth clays" in place of "acidic activators" will produce a chlorine dioxide solution that is far more pleasant and less prone to stomach upset, and actually is far better at calming the stomach as in the use of many otc's such as "kaopectate" and still produce the desired effects of Chlorine Dioxide that many users of this product are hoping for, but without the diarreha, and stomach upset.

Dupont does not elaborate on "natural clays" to activate Sodium Chlorite to produce chlorine dioxide.
Another issue which I will report further on in later post is the interaction of Sodium Thiosulfate and "Natural" Potassium Iodine, not radioactive halogen chloride isotopes of Iodine such as potassium chloride that is added to table salt .

When you add an acid to sodium chlorite you have acidified sodium chlorite. This forms chlorous acid. Chlorous acid has a low PH and has free chlorine dioxide and available chlorine dioxide in it.
If you use a strong acid with sodium chlorite you will release all of the available chlorine dioxide as free chlorine dioxide. You can then bubble air through the solution to pick up the chlorine dioxide. This air is then bubbled through another container of water and you end up with chlorine dioxide in water. The PH of this water doesn't change. You can then dilute the solution to get the concentration you are looking for.
Chlorine dioxide technology involves chlorine dioxide in water. Chlorine dioxide does not change the PH of the water. Acidified sodium chlorite technology forms chlorous acid. MMS involves chlorous acid with extra citric acid in it. This is an acid with a PH in the 2.5 - 3.0 range.
All of the studies involving water purification use chlorine dioxide technology. Most of the studies involving the killing power of chlorine dioxide involved chlorine dioxide technology. Chlorine dioxide is a biocide. Acidified sodium chlorite is a biostat. "Cide" means that it kills. "Stat" means that it stabilizes the growth. If you want to disinfect something, you want to use a biocide. If you want to keep something from spoiling, you want to use a biostat.
Chlorine dioxide has been found to be safe for human ingestion at a concentration of 5 PPM over a period of 12 weeks. Acidified sodium chlorite has not been studied for human ingestion. Chlorine dioxide is used to purify water. Acidified sodium chlorite is not used because the water ends up with levels of chlorite that are higher than allowed.

The actual lab instruction to perform the process is a little more elaborate than how you have presented it. I would guess you were trying to simplify, but in reality the process is a little more complicated than bubbling some air thru a solution.
The process is termed the "Grandstrom and Lee" method.
The "air" as you call it is actually high-purity nitrogen gas bubbled thru three gas-washing bottles connected in series. the first bottle contains sodium chlorite and potassium persulfate. The second bottle contains triple-distilled water for the collection of the chlorine dioxide and is to be kept on ice.

I realize that I am no chemist but I am very confused. I suspect that there are others out there who are equally confused as well.

The average person doesn't have access to "chlorine dioxide technology" so the best we can do is consume acidified sodium chlorite ("MMS"). Right?
What effects might the chlorous acid have inside the body?
I don't think you are confused at all... [smile icon] You are correct, you are mixing up and ingesting chlorous acid.
The problem in the body is that chlorine dioxide does not exist for any length of time. You can demonstrate this to yourself by mixing up a 3 drop dose, then taking a sip of it and swish it around in your mouth for 30 seconds, then spit it out into another glass. You can test for chlorine dioxide using test strips, or you can simply check the appearance and odor of what you spit out. The mucous of the body uses up all the free chlorine dioxide.
This is where additional study is needed. My "best guess" is that since chlorine dioxide rapidly reduces to chlorite, and chlorite has been observed to have a half life of a little over 40 hours in rats, and it shows up in all the bodies organs, including the brain, it is the chlorite that is doing the work. The problem with chlorite is that it is a free radical and can do other damage in the process.
The "next best guess" is that the body actually absorbs chlorous acid and some of the benefits are achieved by the high oxidation reduction potential of chlorous acid. However, chlorous acid effectiveness is dependent upon PH and the body has a wide variety of PH values. It also reduces to chlorite, so once again we are looking at the possibility of chlorite doing the work.
People have for may years been putting sodium chlorite in water and drinking that and reporting many favorable results. This is where Jim Humble started out, but he was unsatisfied with his 70% success rate and claims that activating the solution and using a much higher concentration of sodium chlorite brings the success rate up to closer to 100%. You can review the information on sodium chlorite in water by searching for articles on Stabilized Oxygen.
The problem with using sodium chlorite in water is that the body can be less than perfect in activating the solution, and the concentrations are much lower. This means that instead of instant relief, it takes some time to work. I recently ran across a study done in 1967, if I recall correctly, where sodium chlorite was added to the drinking water of honey bees. The bees that had 1 PPM lived normal length lives. The bees that had 10 and 100 PPM lived much longer than normal with the edge going to those that drank the 10 PPM. The bees that had 1000 PPM died within 2 weeks. Note that the original MMS protocol goal was to get to 15 drops, and that resulted in a concentration of 950 PPM. While bees are not humans, I have had very good results using concentrations in the 7 - 10 PPM range with cats, dogs, cows, goats, horses, and some people have tried this and reported slow steady progress against ailments.
Chlorite is the problem child of all of this. There are regulations on the amount of chlorite that is allowed for ingestion. Chlorine dioxide technology gives the most bang for the amount of chlorite produced and that is why it is used for water purification. Acidified sodium chlorite is used in food processing, and the studies have revealed that the amount of chlorite ingested by people consuming the product is within the chlorite regulation guidelines. Chicken carcasses, for example, are subjected to a 3 - 10 second spray or 30 second dunk in chlorous acid. They then go on to be cut up and packaged. Most people rinse the chicken off before cooking and the amount of chlorite left is minimal.
Oxidation therapies work by having a concentration of the oxidant in contact with the pathogen for a period of time long enough to kill it. Chlorine dioxide, chlorine, chlorous acid, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, are all oxidants that will kill pathogens if allowed to work. Inside the body the biggest problem is delivery. How do you get the oxidant into contact with the pathogen? On a hard surface, or with water, that problem is easy, but inside the body things get much more complex.
You can simulate chlorine dioxide technology by changing the acid used to activate the sodium chlorite. Using hydrochloric acid you will basically release all of the available chlorine dioxide as free chlorine dioxide. You can dilute down from there. If you decide to try this, use extreme caution. At higher concentrations the reaction can be somewhat explosive and proper safety precautions should be in place prior to attempting it. An easier way would be to visit a camping store and find the tablets that you can add to water to purify it using chlorine dioxide. A single tablet will give you a concentration of 4 PPM chlorine dioxide in 1 liter of water.

I am glad you asked this, however, I do not know how far to take this explaination, as it can become rather far reaching. I do not feel that a simple laymans explaination will satisfy at this point, as I have noticed the propensity for many members of these threads to readily strike out against any notion or concept that may seem out of place to them. It does remind me of the narrow minded "established" medical philosophy that so many of us are striving to overcome has come to roost in many of our own. Never the less, I will do my best to answer the question.

Acidified Sodium Chlorite (ASC) is often confused with chlorine dioxide.
ASC is also approved by the FDA (21CFR 173.325) as a secondary direct food additive permitted in food for humans and is widely used in the meat processing industry, as is chlorine dioxide, for its antimicrobial qualities, however, ASC is the one of the main sources for the acidity levels in meats. Sodium Phosphate is also "injected" into the meats to delay the display of "bad meats" visuals and smells.
Chlorine Dioxide is ALSO approved by the FDA as a secondary food additive (21 CFR 173.300)for its antimicrobial action.
ASC can, under certain conditions, produce small limited quantities of chlorine Dioxide directly related to quantities of ASC and Chlorite used and additional catalysts for a "total" titratable acidity level.
Chlorine Dioxide formation is typically minimized in true ASC solutions.
ASC IS a highly effective broad spectrum antimicrobial, but it DOES lower the sodium chlorite pH range into the very acidic 2.5-3.2 range when acidified.
This constitues one of the main issues when used as a health adjunct remedy. The body of most severely ill people is ALREADY too acidic and the extra acid content can and does further aggravate the conditions.
This is not all, however, as I will continue.
ASC chemistry is basically that of chlorous acid, which is the metastable oxychlorine.
The issue here is and should be centered around pH values.
In current lab studies Oxychlorine needs to be maintained in a very acidic environment to be efective in deactivating pathogens. As the pH range is raised in a lab setting into the range of 5.0, 7.0, and 9.0 respectively the effectiveness of the Oxychlorine also decreased, and when the solution reached the 6.0-7.0 range its antimicrobial ability was suspended against f2 virus entirely.
The opposite was observed in pure chlorine dioxide where in as the pH range was raised the effectivness of the antimicrobial action INCREASED and the f2 virus was quickly inactivated.
The solution does not need to be acidic as in ASC solutions to achieve greater effects while at higher pH ranges.
It is confirmed that pure non acidically activated chlorine dioxide is highly biocidal in pH ranges of 7.0-9.0 and the ability to reduce Aldyhydes (certain pathogen toxins such as those from Candida a.)in non acidic preparations.
We must continue, as there are more items to discuss with this comparison.
Chlorous acid, or, rather Oxychlorine has a tendency to disproportionation which severely counteracts its oxidizing potential.
Of particular concern is the action of chlorous acids action on starches and the reduction of common dietary starches to Dicarboxyl acidic starches which are gelatinizing starches (jelly forming) and very sticky somewhat as is found in celiacs disease patients where a type of bioslime is formed in the small intestines preventing the uptake of nutrients from the food these patients consume and thereby leading to anemia.
It is apparent that vegetarians who consume large amounts of starches should steer clear of chlorous acids as the increase in plant based starches will lead to further slime production as there is a more abundant supply of cellulose starches to convert.
Back to non acidic activated sodium chlorite to produce chlorine dioxide.
As shown above pure chlorine dioxides effectiveness increases as the pH ranges of its solution base increases from 7.0 until the optimum range of 9.0 is reached far above neutral.
This one fact is very important as an increase in pH levels also helps to reduce the adverse reactions experienced in the form of upset stomach and lowers the incidence of increased acid reflux. It is also beneficial for persons who suffer from "bile reflux synrome"
An added note: H.Pylori which is the confirmed organism responsible for much of the gastric illnesses in all individuals works its destruction thru the excretion of enzymes that work to "LOWER" the acidic level of the stomach. The reason this organism does this is simple it must lower the acidity level to also lower the amount of lumen mucosal film that protects the stomach from its own acid in order for the organism to survive.
(This is over simplified but I hope that everyone will continue to learn.)
This diminising of the mucus barrier allows the organism to burrow into the stomachs lining and take root. The bodies immune cells can not get to the H. Pylori there due to the absence of blood vessels in this tissue. It also intracellularly will disguise its self by invading the normal cells around it, this directly is where apparent autoimmune diseases are seen. Specialist see our own immune cells attacking what appears to be normal human tissue, but the true fact is that the specialist can not see the difference because the cells still appear to be normal cells from the "outside" but they are mutated and have become "manchurian candidates" under the will of the virus. The point is that a non acidic solution does not "alarm" such organisms and actually the non acidic solution is accepted and when it is the chlorine dioxide enters into the pathogens cell wall joining to the DNA of the oragnism and halting the cells ability to replicate.
(again another simplification)
Another process of chlorine dioxide is the "burning off" oxidizing of the pathogens flagellum, or its mode of mobility so it can not freely move, and is essentially a sitting duck for the bodies soldiers (immune cells) that can get to it.
As is stated numerous times in virtually all of the literature Hypochlorous acid, not to be confused with chlorous acid, is produced by chlorine dioxide and sodium chlorite in the presence of pH neutral water.
As is stated many times over, Hypochlorous acid is produced naturally by, and used by the neutrophils who use this acid to not only infiltrate the pathogens cell wall, but also to "inject" into the pathogens to destroy the DNA, and RNA of the organism.
It is further well known and proven that a solution as low as 2.6 ppm will kill pathogens such as E. Coli in under 5 minutes produced from non acidic activated solutions.

5ppm or higher is NOT needed.
In closing:
The use of an acidic base is NOT needed to have the level of biocidal action to kill pathogens.
The issue now at hand is the needed research to find the delivery system for humans that will provide the needed internally stable long term release of low levels of Chlorine Dioxide within the lab of the human body, and at a pH range that promotes a more alkaline reaction therefore a substantial reduction in adverse side effects.
This my friends needs to be the focus of discussion.
In the mean time, using the current MMS to disinfect the water, and used externally on skin disorders, and more important the use of MMS to clean the mouth by brushing with the solution including the tongue and then gargling
with the solution (not swallowing) to instantly kill the pathogens in the main source for disease, The Mouth.
It is especially important to clean the mouth before any dental work which will result in tearing of the gums. Most pathogens such as Candida a. are "opportunistic" pathogens and are just waiting for the chance to get into our blood stream to get to the heart valves where they will eat the keratin out of the valves. This is why the fungus goes after the toe nails, They want the keratin to build their cell walls for replication.

IMO, chief among those who wrongly hype MMS is Jim Humble, who has made the rediculous claim that he has never profitted a single cent from MMS. I would also argue vehemently that the claim that there are millions of cases of cancer which have been cured by MMS is itself no more than completely unsubstantiated hype. Normally, I would not reply to a pro-MMS message which was posted in an MMS support forum; however, you decided to cross post into the cancer forums and so I will note that I personally do NOT recommend that anyone use MMS for any cancer condition, period. There are, in my opinion, better and safer natural options including products which contain much smaller amounts of sodium chlorite - a substance that can put the entire body under far too much oxidative stress.
Other than that, I join you in bemoaining all of those who hawk and hype MMS for the sake of greed and profit.

You are correct that very ill people do not need the type of "cure or kill" that can be provided by such a solution.
I asked that further research be performed to produce a better tolerated product that does not needlessly have to cause the type of side effects as has been so experienced.
I must tell you that the chlorine Dioxide does kill the pathogens as stated, however, what fails to be looked into is the fact that as these pathogens die they release extensive amounts of toxins that they have "stored" within their cells, and with the reduced states of seriously ill people their livers and kidneys can not handle this huge spike in toxins.
Jim Humble himself said that MMS does not kill any pathogens. Obviously, the pathogens must be killed by the oxidation from MMS. Killing pathogens as well as mutated cancer cells does release quite the cascade of toxins. Virtually all people with cancer and most with other illness have impaired livers to begin with and such an increased toxic load could be fatal. That is why the late great cancer pioneer Max Gerson found that half his patients were dying of liver failure until he began making sure that they took steps to keep the bile ducts open and flowing and protect their livers. It is also why such a large number of chemo and radiation patients die of liver failure. And that is why I recommend that anyone who is fighting cancer take initial and repeated steps to cleanse, protect and regenerate the liver along with measures to keep the bile ducts open and flowing.
Jim Humble's position apparently changes depending on who he is talking to and what position might benefit him at the time. According to my friend, who is the Director of the International Wellness Directory (aka the Minnesota Wellness Directory), who has never once told me an untruth, Jim Humble told him over the phone that MMS itself did not kill pathogens. That leaves only oxidation as far as I can see, and, like chemotherapy drugs and radiation, it is NOT selective.

Chlorine Dioxide thru the producing of sulfates also "pulls" the magnesium from the body in the chemical process of "binding" as the free magnesium dissolved in blood plasma is bound then the body senses a reduction of magnesium and therefore signals to remove more magnesium from the bones (storage site for magnesium)
which also releases more calcium from the bones in a dissolved state and will then be deposited as "calcified deposits" in soft tissues as it has no where to go while the body is working to "dissolve" bone mass to get the needed magnesium to replace the bound magnesium caused by the sulfate loading which is caused by the chlorine dioxide loading.

In most cases chronic Diarrhea is caused from an infestation of the bowl by a virus which also is producing sulfates to dehydrate the bodies cells. dehydrated cells equals disease.
Chlorine Dioxide=sulfates=diarrhea=dehydration=possible over dehydration=death by dehydration.
When the bodies cells are dehydrated the acid content rises, again, over abundance of acid equals disease.
I have shown in previous post that the preparation of MMS thru ASC to produce chlorous acid is NOT the way to go as Chlorous acid only is effective in an acidic environment of 2.6-4.5 pH
Ill persons are known to have an acidic body state. This is all well and good, except for the highly important fact that chlorous acid creates a very adhesive "glue" jelly that attaches to the lining of the small intestines thereby prohibiting the absorption of nutrients such as in the case of celiacs disease by its action upon plant cellulose starches.
ACS is NOT the way to go for disease state individuals whoes bodies need a greater supply of vitamins and minerals.
As stated above the liver is in control of the lymph system. The lymph system is in control of ether taking disease away from the bodies cells, or delivering disease to the cells. Simplified but the case.
If the liver is already near exhaustion and then highly concentrated chlorine dioxide is introduced to kill off millions of pathogen cells at one time the results are the "spiked" influx of mycotoxins, and afatoxins into the blood stream and then these toxins are transported into the near exhausted liver which can not help but "leak" these toxins into the already taxed lymph system which will then transport these toxins to the bodies cells and organs such as the brain resulting in toxic shock syndrome, and the possible "shut down" of the liver which again equals death.
The introduction and delivery of MMS, as is being touted, is like dropping an atomic bomb. The sudden release of toxins has a higher rate of killing the body than the organisms people are trying to rid themselves of by consuming the MMS.
The answer is "clear" it is not so much the "solutions" of MMS that need to be addressed, although the ignorant belief that "if a little is good, more must be better" is leading to overdose of MMS, it is the "Delivery" method, and the addition of proper protocols to first prepare the body for the MMS, support the body during the course of MMS, and finally the support of the body "after" the course of MMS.
Concerning the delivery of MMS:
It is my belief that MMS does have the potential to erradicate 90% of all diseases that are killing man kind.
It is my belief that if molecular chlorine dioxide can be "bound" to lipid molecules such as certain types of omega three oils on a molecular level and then delivered thru enterically protected capsules to assure release in the intestines the micronized fat globuals will be the delivery transporter to the liver wherein the chorine dioxide ions are directly given to the liver to place into the lymph system, and the omega three oils will re-energize and help re-build the exhausted liver.
This method of fat binding was used extensively in the early 1900's to bind natural Iodine to fat for the treatment of goiter, and more so for the 100% cure rate of Syphilis when administred in this fashion.
The resultant iodine bound to lipids(fatty oils) produced a treatment that achieved sustained and regulated time release of the iodine to the bodies systems as fats generally are slow to digest and can take up to 24 hours for complete digestion, thereby a controlled steady release of the iodine as the body naturally digested the fatty lipids.
This delivery method provided the patient the ability to consume one capsule of medication per 24 hour period, and maintained the medicine at effective levels in the blood stream while totally eliminating the side effects related to ingestion of high levels of iodine as is so well known.
Can this process be utilized with MMS. I believe it can.
I like the analogy of dropping an atomic bomb. If you have a so-called terrorist cell in a neighborhood, you don't wipe out the whole city to get rid of it. Neither do you get rid of it with something that will end up poisioning the rest of the neighborhood.
As regards the liver and bile ducts, when they operate properly they process toxins and fats (which store toxins) out of the body. When they do not operate properly, the liver becomes a fat and toxin storage facility and, instead of toxins being processed out through the bile duct, they remain in the body and are recirculated to cause even further damage.
MMS is being banned because of the "unproven" health claims made about it, and the fact that the MMS protocol exposes people to levels of chemicals that are higher than allowed. This is history repeating itself. Check out the Vitamin O story. In the case of Vitamin O the people were in the US and they were put out of business. Jim Humble is not in the US, so the FDA doesn't keep as close a watch on him.
As far as illustrating the difference between chlorine dioxide technology and acidified sodium chlorite technology, here is a method for producing laboratory grade chlorine dioxide from sodium chlorite. Abbreviated, it is bubbling air through the activate mixture and collecting it it water. Note that there is no mention of nitrogen air, nor is there a mention of triple distilled water.
If your goal is to get the maximum amount of chlorine dioxide from the sodium chlorite, paying attention to the purity of the air and water will yield more chlorine dioxide in solution because it won't react with impurities in the air or water. However, to illustrate the point of the difference between chlorine dioxide and acidified sodium chlorite, bubbling any air through the solution and having the chlorine dioxide end up in any water will illustrate the point.
I agree that the MMS protocol is flawed and better delivery methods need to be developed. However, Jim Humble is claiming better than 95% success against all illnesses so he has little incentive to do any further research. Bonding to omega three oil is an interesting thought, but chlorine dioxide will oxidize the oil. However, you may be able to do something with sodium chlorite.
I reviewed the article concerning production of chlorine dioxide, and yes, they use an "activated" solution and hydrochloric acid to activate the sodium chlorite to produce chlorine dioxide.
Oh, wait just a minute, does not the stomach contain HYDROCLORIC ACID? and by only the need to consume sodium chlorite in capsule form blended with a buffering agent will in fact produce chlorine dioxide? In The acidic environment of the stomach, And If the "buffering agent" just so happens to contain potassium chloride as well as sodium thiosulfate and sodium chloride (table salt) to stabilized the reaction, would this not halt the MMS side effects of what would seem to be "sodium deficiency" you know diarrhea, headache, brain fog, upset stomach and the like?
It appears that certain electrically charged ions actually "bind" to the free sodium that is dissolved in the blood plasma, and thus making the much needed sodium unavailable for normal body function. In effect shutting down the bodies normal sodium gates, or pumps, therefore not allowing the healthy exchange of protons and neutrons to cross over the cells membranes of the healthy tissues?
Well, that can be of another discussion.
Lets please discuss the fact that without sodium chlorite there would be no chlorine dioxide, therefore yes, sodium chlorite as the main component is interchangeable in speaking concerning water treatment, oh Yes Tom I do understand very well the concepts, and the differences concerning chlorine dioxine or chlorite are not worth speaking about here on this forum.
Tom, Lets discuss something much MORE direct for all these wonderful readers, that pertains directly to them and the diseases that they are here to try and find the answers to in this miracle solution we love to call MMS.
Number One: The claim that MMS is alkaline is not correct, at least by our in house laboratory testing, it is actually very acidic in the range of 2.5- 3.0 as I have stated in previous post.
It does not have to be this acidic to kill pathogens. I have just completed a video presentation of lab work that will be available for viewing very soon at www.sedonahealthlabs.com and on YouTube.
In the video we show without a doubt that by adding 1/4 teaspoon of sodium chloride (table salt) to the mix of 10 drops sodium chlorite solution 28%, and the corresponding 40 drops of activator consisting of a blend of citric acid, ascorbic acid, and apple cider vinegar extract (ascetic acid) that the solution loses the side effect of upset stomach, loses the effect of "binding" the free sodium of the blood. and loses the God aweful taste that everyone complains of, and all the while STILL very effectively kills pathogens.
You see Tom, if you will Google "Sodium Deficiency" you will discover that the symptoms of this disorder virtually mimick the complaints concerning MMS, and I will state this for the record, MMS does in fact cause some level of dehydration due to the sodium binding effects.
I have researched many records of the ill effects of persons who have taken MMS, and yes, there have been instances of death related to MMS, but the deaths were NOT due to the killing action of MMS upon healthy tissue, No NOT AT ALL, by reading the death certificates the common link is "sodium deficiency" and rapid dehydration of the brain, and nervous system leading to the shut down of the bodies organs due to the halting of the above referenced cellular gates or sodium pumps.
The Answer for this is the addition of Sodium Chloride to the mix. This gives sodium for binding, prior to introduction into the body while still leaves the chlorine dioxide free to perform its work.

Is It The actual Pathogen? or could it be something else? HMMmm Is it one Pathogen or many? Is the Pathogen actually a good organism that is causing trouble because another more virulent pathogen "opened the door" for it to become a monster? You know kinda like the old wives tale where a vampire can not enter into a house unless it is "invited" first.
When Everyone talks about the "Detoxing" effects of MMS---What Is actually happening inside the body? Can you tell us? I mean come on now the term "detoxing" is so ambiguous at best, but really what is HAPPENING in there?
Tom I know you have the answer, but please let me bloviate. I will give an example:
In the case of an infection by the organism Pseudomonas aeruginosa. leading to blood poisoning, pnuemonia, and organ failure.
This particular organism, as well as most of the "kingdom" it is affiliated with such as the organisms that lead to syphilis, cystic fibrosis, and yes lyme disease, actually secret Cyanide.
Cyanide halts the bodies ability to accept oxygen, also cyanide halts protein metabolism. Yes, this is the same cyanide that secret agents like James Bond carry in capsules to consume to commit suicide, and also the same cyanide used by the Nazis to gas the jews.
This particular organism not only produces cyanide, it "stores" it in its cytoplasm, and when it dies it releases all the stored cyanide into its environment.
Now we bring in MMS which results in massive pathogen die off and therefore extreme releases of cyanide. It does not take much thinking to see where this is going does it?
Miracle Mineral Solution IS the way to kill these antibiotic resistant organisms, there is NO doubt about that, however, It is my belief that the body must be "prepared" for it.
How is this performed? Identification and education about the organism that is causing the illness. There are over 2,000 different "oportunistic" pathogens that cause disease in man, and all of them excrete different types of toxins.
Namely Mycotoxins, and Aflatoxins are the major players in this battle, however, I will stay focused on the organism that secretes cyanide for the moment.
If an individual is infected with this type of deadly monster the FIRST thing that must be addressed is the cyanide it is secreting into the blood which kills the liver, kidneys and lungs. Cyanide is this monsters only weapon, and it is good at producing it. The Answer: Sodium Thiosulfate first: Sodium Thiosulfate neutralizes cyanide on contact. It also neutralizes chlorine, lead, mercury, and thallium. On Contact without ANY side effects what so ever. Sodium thiosulfate is odorless, colorless, and tasteless. It is also the "sulfer" found in natural health hot springs. Sodium Thiosulfate can be taken internally as well as in injection combined with standard saline solution. It can also be added to the bath tub as a soak, as it is readily accepted by the bodies skin. The body loves Sodium Thiosulfate it is a natural sodium mineral without the CHLORIDE, It does not require an "activator". It is alkaline. It not only deactivates chlorine (the bad one) but also deactivates flouride, bromine, chloramines, and other radioactive chemicals such as dioxins as in THM's and HAA's.
Sodium Thiosulfate in bath water removes stored chlorine dioxins from the skin and hair. Chlorine is what causes hair to feel like straw, and skin to become leathery due to chlorine melting all the good fat of the skin layers. Sodium Thiosulfate is used to treat kidney type renal failure where calcification of the kidneys is involved as Sodium thiosulfate dissolves the calium stone deposits in ALL soft body tissue.
So I do believe that MMS does do what modern medicine can not do, which is kill resistant mutated pathogens, however, everything in its time.
The right thing, at the right time, and for the right reason. Is Key. Then of course good super nutriction should follow the MMS course by the addition of high quality prebiotics and probiotics, and high quality fatty acids such as omega three oils (kelp oil) and a natural B complex and mineral liquid supplement.
Tom one last item you had mentioned that the idea of "binding" chlorine dioxide to lipids (fats) semed to be a good idea, but you stated that chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorate, would oxidize fats, hmmm if this statement is true, this is a problem because REAL chlorine like what is used in water treatment also oxidizes fats and is RADIOACTIVE, and is a halogen. Well, I do not believe that this is the case.
Again another discussion.
Let me describe EXACTLY how this is performed. First get a nice piece of maple or walnut preferably red cyprus heart wood not too big just a good sized block will do. Put it into a new small BBQ grill and burn it until nothing but the ash is left. Take a good sized handful of the ash and add it to a pot containing distilled water that has reached the simmering stage. The pot should be about a 2-3 qt pot. Mix in the ash while stirring the simmering water until it comes to a boil, and then turn off the heat and let sit overnight. In the morning in a seperate smaller pot bring to just below a simmer about eight ounces of ether natural organic sesame or organic coconut oil add 10 grams or about 1/3 oz. dry sodium chlorite to the oil until dissolved, and you can also add 300mg of Lugol's iodine solution to the oil then begin to drip in the ash water slowly and it will congeal and soon thicken into a gel like paste. This is fatty acid with dissolved sodium chlorite and iodine. It can then be encapsulated preferably in enteric coated capsules. Done. The omega three lipids and the chlorite ions which will be activated in the residual hydrocloric acid of the digestive system which will then be readily taken up by the liver that metabolizes fats and also release chlorine dioxide into the lymph system and into bile.
Tom I know that this is ALOT of info at one sitting and you will have to get online and do a whole lot of "Googling" to figure all this out, but I have all the time in the world and await your enlightened replies. Who knows maybe together we can find the "delivery" answer.
Dissolving 10 grams of sodium chlorite in 8 ounces of fluid will result in a very high concentration that is not stable, and can explosively activate upon contact with acids or in the presence of heat. You should spend a little more time discussing your mixtures with a chemist to keep yourself from getting into trouble. You are aware that spilling a small amount of that high a concentration can lead to fire, and it can be activated by stray exposure to sunlight...
Yes, the stomach does have HCl in it. That is why the various "stabilized oxygen" products have been so effective. You ingest a dilute sodium chlorite solution and it activates in the stomach.
MMS is sodium chlorite. The 22.4% concentration of sodium chlorite has a PH of around 12. A solution with a high PH is alkaline. The MMS protocol involves chlorous acid. You can duplicate the stomach upset by simply mixing up a normal dose, but leave the sodium chlorite out. Drinking high amounts of citric acid also causes stomach distress and tastes awful. Chlorine dioxide works over a wide PH range, but chlorous acid needs to be acidic in order to work. Citric acid by itself is also capable of killing pathogens.
Your idea of the detoxification process is interesting. I think the reason people experience adverse effects is because they have increased the amount of chemicals that they are taking to the point where they are poisoning themselves. The body uses nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea to eliminate the poison from the body.
Taking a closer look at your idea about cyanide causing some of the detoxification symptoms, do you realize that chlorine dioxide is used to destroy cyanide? Either your idea about cyanide is off, or MMS is not getting chlorine dioxide into the body.

Chlorine dioxide is an oxidant. It will oxidize anything that has free electrons. In order to kill pathogens you need to be able to get the right concentration into contact with the pathogen for a period of time long enough to kill it. One of the most important items in delivery is knowing how much you need to deliver. A lot of test data is available on what concentrations are needed on hard surfaces outside the body, but there is no information on how that data translates to pathogens inside the body. Once it is understood what concentrations are needed inside the body, then the safety of these chemicals can be reviewed. Once safety is understood, the method of delivery can be determined.
TOM PEOPLE ARE NOT JUST DRINKING SODIUM CHLORITE MY FRIEND THEY ARE MIXING WITH AN ACID SUCH AS CITRIC OR LEMON JUICE TO PRODUCE CHLORINE DIOXIDE.
