I eat about 8-12 a week myself. Organic cage free brown hen eggs that is. I really don't anticipate any problems, especially since I also get plenty of digestive enzymes, some Niacin, apple pectin and lots of natural vitamin C. On some days I skip the eggs and go with a good superfoods drink and a few other items, such as sliced tomatoes and slice of buttered rye bread. The chlorella, spirulina and other items in the superfoods powder are good protein sources - and if you mix them with raw organic goats milk with a bit of blackstrap molasses and perhaps some raw organic honey, you have a pretty good protein drink. Of course, you can always add a raw egg to the drink too . . .
Try those hard boiled eggs medium boiled (slightly soft center), cut them in half and add a dash of garlic, some dill and a splash of cayenne sauce. Yummm! Healthy too. A favorite way we fix eggs is to lightly scramble them and mix in some minced garlic, yellow squash, zuchinni and brocolli. Perhaps a bit of good quality cheese (I prefer cheddar, but provolone is healthier). A bit of sea salt and black pepper, add some sliced tomatoes and melons on the side and there you have it.
I have 3 chickens and get 3 fresh eggs everyday... and eat loads because I was told they are really good for you! And yes... i think they are! I feel great!
Eat up! There's not some "safe" number, it would be hard to OD on eggs. No more than 4 a week sounds like some conventional medicine advice. The only people who try to scare you are the people who think cholesterol and fat are some evil villains. 2 a day should be no problem at all.
That being said, you might want to rotate off and not eat any once a week or several days each month, just to make sure you don't develop an allergy or intolerance. (That's good advice for many foods that are daily staples.)
Hey dude,
Good question because Eggs is very important for health and I think 4 eggs is the enough for a day because eggs have a more protein for improving your health but eggs have a more fat so you always get some time to exercise and it is remove your fatness and get fit and healthy body..........
Ah, the old myth. Eggs are fattening, and you can exercise any food away.
That is just not true. The good fats and cholesterol in eggs make them an almost perfect food. Exercising (the so called calorie expenditure) has been proven to not exist.
I did read somewhere that you should not break the yolk when cooking them.
