I may not agree with you about the whole religion and god stuff, but I certainly have a lot of respect for you as a person. I have christian friends that are light years away for those venom spewing, hate spreading , people.
what happens when people get too literate intelegent? what image they would see? Could there be another image out of feelings that has created religion inevitably in the past? Can we unite two images of God and of Satan or of nature and of our construtive angry, the unsatified full energy? what can connect us together in happiness? Is there more joy nowadays? with less and less feeling. what is going on in life? Or it is just personal and I do not care about others? I think men nowadays have to say, no ,for they say i have no time. who are those who boast to see so possitive to use their angry energy to contruct infinately. I see men are mad. They invent fear so that the mind invent meaningless imagination. We have to think that God is in the lives of our beings. the happy mind is in its happy body. Why fear of the feeling of that connection that make us together. why fear of the change or sorrow that the sin of death takes us. should we see it as a place to be more and more angry so we never change our own cruelty to ourselves for we want ever more invention to separate us. What a home sickness men are!

I think it has alot to do with the feeling that people can't trust others. I've seen the trust of our fellow man decline more and more through the years.
It's almost as if God's Spirit is pulling away from the earth and giving evil a chance to grow to its fullest.
Interesting point beej, I've also noticed a decline in trust for others, but I think it has more to do with mass media continually emphasising the bad in the world, spreading fear.
The religions do this as well, at the same time they are committing the crimes.
The base of monotheist religions is fear and guilt, this breeds mistrust. As most humans can no longer see the energy of another beyond the surface, there will be no trust. This is the forgotten sense.
When we can only see differences there is no trust.
When we despise the person because of the belief, there is no trust.
The guy who wrote the song, (the guy singing it in the vid), wrote it to counter the fear and indoctrination his children were getting from their school, in particular the school chaplain. He is lobbying to get chaplains out of schools, or to limit what they can teach in schools, and who they can teach it too. I love the song, its very catchy. My Grandkids love all the animals :)
