My recent thyroid results show I have high tsh, ft3 and normal - highish ft4. I feel very hypothyroid. Is this thyroid hormone resistance? Can high cortisol cause my ft3 to be so high? Can it be hormone resistance even though, ft4 is in the high-normal range? Does anybody know what else can cause hormone resistance?
yes I had a cortisol test done a few months back with elevated cortisol and dhea. I have been taking B vitamins + magnesium. Do you know if Phosphatidylserine can help to lower cortisol? Has anybody tried it and found it helpful?
I have high antibodies, doc said there isn't anything I can do about that. :(
Ferritin is lowish at 24. Im trying to work on that now.
Phosphatidylserine, zinc and holy basil will help lower cortisol.
Keep working on your ferritin. Solgar makes a good iron that is easy on the tum: it's called Gentle Iron. It only has 25mg of iron (elemental iron) per tablet. So you need to take a couple of tablets a couple of times per day with meals and vitamin C at minimum. If you have a cast iron skillet, cook as many meals as you can with it.

POPPY COCK, BULL SH#T!!! You lower antibodies by getting your ferritin up, lowering your cortisol and taking iodine + selenium.
Adequate levels of selenium and iodine will lower the antibodies.
