Yucca Root

 I purchased some NOW foods Yucca Root that comes in 500mg capsules. I want to use the Yucca to aid in healing my digestive tract (years of antibiotics) and to help build my flora along with rice bran/coconut kefir. My question is how much and when would i take Yucca Root?

I recommend 2 capsules 3 times daily at least 20 minutes before meals.  You can take it with the brans if you want.  If this has too much of a laxative effect though cut back to one capsule three times daily.

Would the above along with a clean diet be all that i need to improve my flora or do you have other suggestions? I am taking B's,zinc, bitters for stomach acid also.

Fermented foods such as kefir and miso would be good, as well as seaweeds.
