Once the digestion is not in use the body has a load of free energy to get on with a backlog of 'housework' within the body. It is this deep cleaning that gives you a clearer mind, better health, and the spiritual high (if you are going for that as well). Drinking any solid food will engage your digestion. You should only eat a banana or something, if the detox symptoms are too much to bear and you want to slow them down a bit. Otherwise, stick you juice :) Add To Favorites! I had a suspicion (or however you spell it) that the banana wasn't strictly ligit. Yes, am on day 8. Yesterday was tough...around people eating things. I couldn't get out of my mind Cheetohs - kept invisioning eating a bag of them. Whew, hope that's gone now. Still am thinking, in a weak moment, a banana smoothie may be ok, just to get me through, and onto a longer juice feast. Add To Favorites!
