Hey all,
I have been suffering from some unknown illness for over six months now. My doctors keep telling me it's fine and it's all in my head but I know better. Every morning I wake up with worst feeling of a toxic headache. It feels like I've just smoked my first cigarette right before waking up. Or like I've been drinking the night before and my body is trying to cleanse the toxins. This headache persists for the rest of the day on a lesser scale. I have also experienced random rashes, weird looking stools, extreme health anxiety and depression, and about 13 lbs weight loss. I have had a CT scan done on my head, which yielded no results. My bowel movements are sometimes light which leads me to think about the liver. I had my liver enzymes tested and they were only very slightly high.
The worst part of this entire experience is the headache. It seems to go from my forehead down to my nose. My head has a general feeling of fullness and slight pressure. Basically what I describe as a toxic headache. I'm wondering if anybody can weight on the types of headaches you get with parasites and what this toxic headache could possibly be. I'm so tired of feeling this way and no doctor is seemingly able to help. Thanks!
Also, I tried Paragone a few months ago for 2 weeks and got a few things out in my bowel movements. I have now ordered Humaworm and will try that next.
I honestly won't be surprised if that would make it worse. Parasites are most active at night and their leftover waste might be hitting your blood stream in the morning. Water should also help. If you do a parasite cleanse you are going to create more toxins and in turn the headache will be worse. I would try some general body clean up and see how you feel such as increasing fiber, limiting sugar and highly processed food, drinking more water and limiting toxins such as caffeine, cigs, and alcohol. A parasite cleanse is lengthy and very time consuming. You have to change a lot of bad habits. It isn't just taking pills but a life style change. You might not want to go through all of that and it might be simpler to try the suggestions I mentioned before. Also again Bentonite clay and psyllium hust.
Maybe You could find another doctor who takes You serious?
The answer "It's all in Your head" is very much the code for "I cannot help You, but that's Your fault".
I used to get these headaches. My doctor gave me muscle relaxers and they went away. He said they are caused when tension tightens the scalp muscles and they don't relax. My suggestion is to take potassium in the morning, and calcium tablets before you go to bed at night. These are both muscle relaxers. Laying in a hot bathtub with your scalp underwater may help as well. If you don't have a tub, run a hot shower over your head and massage it at the same time.
Unknown to most people, Aleve (naproxen) also has a muscle relaxing effect. It works best on my tension headaches. Tramaden is another OTC muscle relaxer, but it's expensive.
I suffered from headaches and migraines my entire life until 3 yrs ago when I changed my diet and stopped taking all meds. I do not eat sugar, food additives , gluten or dairy. My diet is mainly organic fruit and veg with a little organic eggs and meat.
I had a reoccurance of the headaches from time to time while parasite cleansing. When the body is overloaded with toxins a headache can result as well as nausea or flu like symptoms.
I second Onwards' post. I also had headaches until I went to a very clean diet, detoxed slowly for quite a while, cleared candida. I have headaches again on the parasite cleanse, but know that they are about toxicity and will go when the parasites do.
Thanks for all of the responses everybody. I had my magnesium and calcium checked a little while ago and they were in normal range. I'm hoping the humaworm shows up this week and I can start on that. The headaches lead to anxiety, which leads to insomnia, which leads to stress rashes, which leads to irregular bowel movements. Which leads to..repeat.. lol. It's a vicious cycle. It really sucks to feel hungover every day without even drinking!
You might want to check out your house and work areas for places where molds grow. Mold toxins can cause these types of problems. Some of the symptoms could be caused by gluten sensitivity so find out if you have had tests for Celiac Disease which can develop anytime in a person's life. It's possible that something in your bedroom is causing inflammation of the sinuses - I can't use goose down pillows, new foam pillows, detergents and fabric softeners on bedding and bed clothes, matress dust and more.
