I am freaking out!!! For the past few days I've have what looks like fish food flakes in my urine, dark HUGE flakes literally look like fish food that's the only way I can describe it.... Are these kidney stones, failure, cancer, nothing? Surely this is not normal, imagine fish food how it looks in water that's what's in my urine?!?! Has anyone ever experienced this? Please help
Could be anything, even white blood cells attacking nothing, autoimmune, or something like an infection?
You need a doctor to run some urine tests to rule out problems. If no doctor available, a lab willing to do urine specimen tests without an order. Otherwise, a physician may know what it may or may not be from experience, testing only for the most necessary potential issues.
It could be anything like an infection, some tissue of the bladder, or protein in the urine (proteinuria) from infection (inflammation), high BP, or diabetes.
They might be kidney stones. They come in two colors, light and dark, depending on their composition. I've passed them and never even noticed, but then, I wasn't looking for anything either. (Two small ones were present in one C-scan of the abdomen but missing in the last one done). My kidney specialist has passed three of them that he knows of, and he says that it's quite common to pass the smaller stone size.
