Just like to ask if anyone knows the difference between inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) derived from rice bran and inositol found in (non gm) lecithin granules and what the advantages are of one over the other?
Is it a matter of higher concentration in rice bran extract or are there other factors involved?

Edit -
Found what i needed - searched through newports posts which are pretty extensive - should have searched first!
inositol hexaphosphate IP6 is more available as a purified extract than in its natural form thats bound to fibres and theres more avaialable. http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=920530#i
I was going to get more lecithin but have gone for IP6 first.
Ive done about 60 rounds of chelation with great improvements but have had to stop due to detox issues. Still feel that I have some way to go though.
Wow! Didn't know that IP6 was so powerful!
Will have to look into it as well...
Are you talking about 60 rounds of chelation with IP6 or ALA?
What sort of detox issues have you had? I mean is it safe to take IP6... :)
Approx 60 rounds so far - As per cutlers protocol - I had all fillings removed over a period of 8 months and then chelated using dmsa only for a period of 3 months then I chelated using dmsa and ala in equal quantities there-after.
I chelated once per week for three days at a time.
I started off with 25mg dmsa and worked up to 100mg dmsa over a period of 6 months which i thought that I tolerated reasonably well but as it happens developed toxicity symptoms which I think are copper and iron.
symptoms include liver pain esp in right shoulder blade and right side of rib cage at front and sometimes tenderness there, slight jaundice too.
Nausea intermittant, headaches, insomnia, metallic taste in mouth, some body odour, bloating esp after too much carbohydrate, aching kidneys which I would take to be adrenals as chronic fatigue has become more pronounced but sporadic.
Im going to reduce dmsa down to 50mg - the same with ala, and introduce IP6 for 2 weeks while chelating as per newports posts.
those symptoms do not sound like copper and iron toxicity to me. They sound like an overworked and an overtaxed liver.
Personally, if I were you I would take a break from chelating, and do some serious liver support protocols. Liver support herbs, bitters, a few liver flushes, etc.
I would also do some Hulda Clark style kidney cleanses
Chelating mercury is extremely hard on the liver and the kidneys.
I agree - I already have taken a break and will continue the break for a while yet. the reason for the IP6 is to rid myself of any other build up/burdon and as it acts as a metal detox and cleanse that people (esp men) would benefit from anyway esp I would think if chelating. Im also planning to do other forms of detox too though as you sugest but not all just yet - just taking it easy on the protocols at the moment
