I am trying to alkalinize my body due to a hyperinfection of strongyloides and lupus, fibro and brain fog. I've read and read, but everyone wants money for what the info on what foods to eat, etc., and I have spent so much on parasite drugs that didn't work, I don't have any.
Can anyone point me to a good, free list of food and how to mix them?
Right now, I'm eating as alkaline as possible to try to get my body back to alkalinity. I know it is very acid, because I have always eaten what I know now are very acid foods. I do eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, mostly raw, but I don't really know HOW to eat them.
A couple of questions:
1. Do lemon water and vinegar water both alkalinize your body, and what is the recipe for them?
2. Does baking soda in water help, and how much of that to use? My grandmother used to make us drink 8 oz. of water with a tsp. of baking soda every day, morning and night. I've been doing that. I get a lot of "gurgling", which I read means that I'm very acid, and that something in my gut hates the alkalinity. I'm thinking that's the parasites.
I'm not doing this for the parasites only. I want to see what I can do to get rid of the fibro and brain fog as well as get some energy back.
There are a number of fronts to tackle this: Breathing, diet, and possibly supplemnetation at various levels.
Persoanlly I think that initial balancing is best thought of in that order. Recognising that some cases can be more extreme/have complex causes and therefore require supplementation etc. So isues like heavy matels toxicity, minerals depletion and digestive inefficiencies all seem to influence modes of "treatment".
Granted the different protocols and attitudes to AAB, what are people using in their examinations and what knowledge basis for their conclusions?
Hello 132938 I shall leave your questions to others more experienced. I make the simple point that sorting 'what and how" goes up your nose and in your mouth will do more to secure your longer term health than anything else.
Hello Gzrbear. I note various alkalising minerals and carbonates being used by yourself at the moment. Could you list your current protocol or redierect me. Thanks. I am "confused" by your epsoms salts and potassium carbonate drink at the same time as Moreless or not? I have taken on board the individual nature of this suggestion.
And related with the Moreless protocol: what parameters are people using to evaluate its effectiveness once one starts modifing the balance?
I really hope it is not too very complicated, because I don't like eating to be a job. I'm not very analytical. I need things laid out for me in simple terms..."eat this with this, take these supplements, drink this."
>>"Could you list your current protocol or redierect me."<<
See the pdf I posted in my other post on this thread.
>>"Thanks. I am "confused" by your epsoms salts and potassium carbonate drink at the same time as Moreless or not?"<<
No, I have tweaked the protocol for myself and the *drink* no longer requires the Epsom Salt in it as I add it to the water I drink throughout the day.
I would suggest that you start out with the basics before getting into tweaking it any.

How they physically, mentally and spiritually feel... this includes resolution of chronic health problems\conditions related to being out of alkaline - acid balance.
>>"1. Do lemon water and vinegar water both alkalinize your body, and what is the recipe for them?"<<
they can - however, whether they work at all or not depends greatly on the quality of the lemons or ACV (apple cider vinegar).
Switchel, or farmers punch as it was called in colonial America has been around as an electrolyte drink since the beginnings of recorded history...
>>"2. Does baking soda in water help, and how much of that to use?"<<
Ted on Earthclinic.com recommends using the ACV, lemon or lime juice with the baking soda... you can find all of his recipes for alkalizing by doing a search on earthclinic... it will even pop up near the top in Google.
He recommends a mix of potassium bicarb with the sodium bicarb in the *drink* for people sensitive to sodium.
I used the drink in this .pdf put together by Evanluck on the askmoreless forum here on curezone.
You may want to go through that forum and read some posts...

Our grandparents and great grandparents, especially those who were farmers knew this stuff through and through... though they did not always have what they may have liked to have, they made do with whatever it was that they had on hand and knew how to use it.

Correct your system and the parasites will leave, if that is indeed what you have.
Thank you so much, Grz. Yes, I do have parasites. I have a strongyloides hyperinfection that is trying to kill me. As far as I can figure out, I've had strongyloides for over 20 years, but they did not get out of control until I had to take prednisone for a torn rotator cuff. I tried herbs, and they ran to my skin, and are ravaging it.
I have read that by getting your body in balance, not only will the parasites leave, but that my skin will heal. I'm not a vain person, but I have gone from attractive to ugly in a matter of less than two years, and I'm very depressed.
I have been diagnosed with lupus, and have nodular goiter. I now believe that all of it is caused by the strongyloides, and if I can get rid of them, I will be completely cured of this nightmare.
This is my last try. I'm almost 60 and tired of being sick. I can't fight much longer. I'm giving the pH balancing diet and protocol a chance, and then I will give up the fight and let it take me.
I did drink lemon water today. I used fresh lemons, but I can't get organic right now. I do have fresh organic grapefruit and oranges, though, right in my yard, so maybe tomorrow I will use those. I felt some die-off today, just from the lemon/molasses/cayenne drink. I can tell when they die, because I start itching like crazy.
I'll go read some of what you recommended. Thanks again.
Getting your body back in shape naturally is certainly the top option to pursue. You may find some useful information for your skin in one or more of these articles:
One of the more common side effects of Lupus is skin problems. My late grandfather had Lupus, btw, and I can remember him smearing a stinky gray salve on his legs every day. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disorders. Many immune disorders may be helped by using items which are natural immune modulators. Some of the best are:
Magnesium
Vitamin D3 (from sunlight as much as possible)
Curcumin/Turmeric (Curcumin is not very bioavailable. Unless you get a highly bioavailable form, coconut milk and/or black pepper help somewhat with absorption)
Blackseed Oil (Nigella sativa)
Oleander extract (not the toxic raw plant, but properly prepared oleander extract).
It is worth noting that magnesium deficiency has been strongly associated with autoimmune disorders and it has been estimated that anywhere from 70 to 95 percent of us are deficient in magnesium.
Likewise other mineral deficiencies have also been associated with autoimmune disorders and a host of other problems - and most of us are deficient in multiple minerals. A good whole foods derived mineral source is likely a good idea for most of us. Sea vegetables are a good source, as are the so-called supergreen food powders. There are also whole food derived mineral supplements.
As for your original post I will go from generality to more specifics. Pick what you feel will be good for you.
pH of the whole body is influenced by the following:
-Oxygenation-respiratory system
-Emotional state-the endocrine system
-Nutrition-Digestive system
-Oxygenation
The less the air is polluted, the better it is Breathing techniques
Someone in this forum mentioned http://www.normalbreathing.com/
I don't know about it.
-Nutrition
Stop eating processed food, sodas, JUNK food is a good start.
Food charts
In here http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1480664#i
you will find food charts. I must mention that if you go to Dr. Young sites (pH miracle) he might be more strict than others. According to him, most fruits are acidic except for a few like lemons.
Supplements/Alkaline water
For those who want to opt for that kind of formulation- I suggests multi-mineral formulations that must include sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium and possibly some trace minerals. Homemade formula allows to tweak the proportion of these minerals. Many of these minerals can be in the form of carbonate, bicarbonate, citrate ...
Here's just a few of Alkaline water that anybody can make http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1642247#i
I kept the best for the last
For an overview of the Moreless protocols go there http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1432095#i
Two things you will not see elsewhere are the Moreless alkalizing baths and the absolute necessity of eating high quality produces.
I know it seems a lot but I feel that I barely scratched the surface of the topic.
You will certailly have more questions so continue posting.
Also, I used to have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a lot of brainfog with it. I think that it may have been partially due to a bad diet affecting my thyroid (even though my thyroid tests kept coming back "normal."
If you think that you might have a thyroid issue, you may want to supplement with Iodine and sea vegetables.
