Hi folks.
I just wanted to review the circumstances of my last infection with E. Histolytica, a disease causing amoeba that can be very deadly.
During this illness, I was not deplete of energy, which is suggestive that the TH2 part of the immune system was not amplified.
That means, T cells, and B cells [the antibody making cells] were not fully active.
It is strange, because direct threat to host tissue was part of this pathology.
The body has specialized cells that can switch their styles of attack, to combat the ( technically unseen)invader.
If the process the body needs to find the right form of defence is interrupted by antibiotics, there may be an incomplete cycle of your immune activation. This could in theory create an opportunity for the parasite to go dormant, and draw upon other genetic factors making it a sub clinical infection, slowly achieving a certain degree of immunotolerance.
It was not my choice to go without drug intervention (although I did take antifungal drugs), but I am glad I got through it on my own.
This is because other symptoms from another parasite(s) have subsided after many, many years of active symptomology.
I am not 100%, but I now have some powerful immune responses available to me against future infections. Shroom
shroom, a few days ago i was helpless with diarrhea. goldenseal has given some semblance of normal life back. it does look as if the tini treatment made my symptoms worse. i have not decided not to treat with drugs but am waiting to feel i have a good combo that will truly work. so how to live in the meantime? i actually had a fairly normal bm this am. i can't believe it. i obviously am still infected, i have the bloat, the burps, the energy hit. but what you say is interesting.
