has anyone had hair loss with systemic candida.? if so did hair grow back again. My hair is considerably thinner.it came out,stopped and started. Not falling out now after doing Jeff McC plan.
I had some pretty substantial hair loss due to candida/mercury, including an acceleration of male pattern baldness starting in my late 20s and all-around thinning. The hair on the front of my head has improved as I've been getting better, but the bald spot on the crown/back of my head has yet to fill in at all (as my wife so kindly let me know the other night).
Yes. Mine has been shedding quite a bit for several months now. It's one of my least favorite parts of Candidiasis. Especially considering I'm only 25 and had been wearing my hair long for a while now (I'm a dude). I've been taking biotin to countertact it and was actually wondering if anyone had any advice on anything extra I can do to stop the shed. I appreciate any and all suggestions.
Thanks for response.maybe jeff Mccombs might have some answers.When my hair was coming out in large quantities i put the root of some of them under microscope540xmag: and found fungus of some kind attached to roots and some kind of round parasite and it was not head louse as it was not the same shape.Also some things visible to naked eye on small areas at front of scalp and they felt like burning needles so i put GSE on this and that got rid of that whatever it was. i have followed jeffs plan for a month and the hair has stopped falling out.these things occur due to compromised immune system caused by systemic candida fungal form.
I noticed hair loss for the 1st time.....freaked out, went to the doctor to get a total blood count done. Didn't show anything abnormal, and the doctor said it was stress. She told me we shed sometimes... it stopped for a while, now I noticed it started again. Not sure why, maybe the hypothyroid thing..? I also had my levels checked, but all normal there too.
Blood tests, usual blood tests do not show anything for candida and thyroid. i had thyroid test done at Genova diagnostics.(urine) that showed up as low thyroid function.Urine tests are more reliable according to research at GD.
Gibby, you've been replacing your fillings, right? Did your hair loss start after that?
The reason I ask is because hair-loss is a common symptom of heavy metals and replacing fillings and chelating can cause a temporary worsening of symptoms. My problem is premature gray hair (it started in my early 30's). I noticed it's gotten a bit worse since I started chelating. I'm not sure what will happen when I've gotten the mercury out. Will my hair stay gray or will my hair color return? I've no idea. Personally, I'd rather have completely gray hair and no mercury rather than be full of mercury with no gray.
Eric, I've replaced all my fillings, but then I find out that's not enough. i need to get rid of an old gold crown, perfectly good..... and everyone talks about the root canals....they've been filled with amalagam as well. I don't know if I can do a whole mouth makeover. It could take years and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ !!
Hair loss, I don't know what it is. I've seen it happen in bouts, but way way way after I had fillings replaced. I don't know if that is a connection.
Yes I'm sure that biotin can help with your hair loss, if for no other reason than it will help to cure the Candida infestation. The way this works is;
Biotin has the ability to prevent Candida from converting to a fungal form, which means the yeast is unable to change into the mycelium form which consists of a mass of branching thread-like filaments which latch onto the intestines, often creating the problem of leaking gut.
