A little over a year ago, I remember that some nights I would not be able to sleep well because i would develop itches all over my body and gas when i tried to go to sleep. It was a type of itch were it was instantly satiated by scratching it, but a new one would pop up in a different area shortly after. It would not happen every night however. Later, I went through an extremely stress-full period of time, which wore me down into a very severe depression/anxiety. This is the time I first remember another symptom, a heavy heart beat, especially after eating, and when trying to go to sleep. The itchy sensations became present during the day, not just the night. I became frequently almost completely incapacitated by the sickness. When the itching was bad, some of the itches would escalate to "pangs" that felt like something biting me under my skin, these could make me jump, want to yell, and rush to itch the area, which would instantly make them subside. There is also a third feeling, something like a general burn/tingle or feeling of inflammation under the skin, and a 4th feeling, that is a crawling sensation, similar to what you feel when a very small insect is on you. I noticed that fatigue, depression, and anxiety were correlated to whatever the sickness was, as well as digestive troubles. I would get an intense pain after eating in my stomach area very often, along with the itchyness and fatigue.
After countless hours researching, I am still at a loss for what is wrong with me. Things I come across most include:
-food allergy: almost surely not the case. I have gone on elimination diets as far as nothing but steak. although i have always had very bad allergies my whole life.
-candida/leaky gut: I know this is greatly over self diagnosed. I noticed the itchiness and insomnia seemed to improve a lot on a very low carb diet. I've tried many of the anti yeast remedies, however have never taken a drug for it. When I mention this to doctors, they laugh.
-parasites: I purchased albendazole (de-wormer) and have been taking that since yesterday. There hasn't been a noticeable positive effect. Also I took a stool test and although it was for a crappy regular doctor and i think only tested for 3 strains of parasites, it passed (they did find salmonella, however, which explained why I'd been so sick a week or so before). parasites seems to be the closest matching to what I feel, but I have never seen any in my stool that I could recognize. Itching and crawling feeling can be very bad on my anus, in my nose, and on my scalp and sometimes in my ear
-some type of strange bacterial infection? should I try anti-biotics?
-mold? there was black mold growing in my bathroom when i was developing these symptoms.
-auto immune disease of some kind?
-hypothroidism - I have read that a large reason for why our body temperatures is 98.6 is because it is just high enough to make us less susseptible to parasites/infections. my body temperature is almost always at least a degree colder, and sometimes has been all the way down in the 96's.
I am a 19 year old Male. I would greatly appreciate advice of any kind!
doesn't scabies produce skin sores and rashes? my skin looks completely normal. Also i have started taking albendazole, after reading the ICU protocol, a couple days ago, but have not so far noticed any improvement.
Two more ideas, one is consider the elimination diet, the one that is well researched.
I've listed here. The elimination diet with just
Steak is not good it create high uric acid which is not the eliminatiion diet that is condusive to finding out the cause of allergies,
A well researched elimation diet is simple rice, chicken turkey lamb, garlic onions, any vegetable, except nightshade vegetable, you can have blueberries , pears, water, olive oil, black beans oDo this for two weeks
NO Gluten for months to find out if your allergic to this stuff is pretty reactionary substance.
If you had mold exposure you must get your Doctor right away to prescribe Choleystramin that get the mycotoxins out of your body and it is dangerous to your health to be around mold it can give you a heart attack.
The funny thing here is I've seen dermatologist several times different ones, they will listened to my story and take notes, seem very concerned, and they might even take scraping put it under the microscope,
hmmmm....maybe eczema, like eczema but they never talk about the CAUSE. I had a Chinese Medicine doctor cure my skin issue and it wasn't eczema
Well, the 'scabies' attack I had 'started out' 'itchy' but no 'blotches' at first. Then after a week or so it began getting 'red' in areas but never any 'open sore' issues. My 'fingers' in between was really red (they LOVE warm areas!)and I NEVER 'felt' any 'crawling' just a overwhelming need to scratch! I tried homeopathic (worked some relief), then Permethrin (worked some relief), finally got the Doctor (they are stubborn, they want you to use the Permethrin first!)to give me Ivermectrin and yahoo, after 2 doses, 7 days apart, of 4 (3mg)tablets, gone, gone, gone! (I weigh 108)they gave it to me according to my weight.
I also used (a Nurse at a well known store gave me this advice)the 'lice' spray for ALL my furniture, my beddings (ALL of them), my floor, my carpets AFTER mopping with 1 part vinegar to 1 part water and then 3 capfuls of bleach to 1 gallon of water on ALL my floors. AND, to 'top it off' for 3 full months (yep, I did NOT stop! maybe a lil' 'PTSD'?)CHANGED THE BEDDING EVERY DAY AND ANYTHING I WORE WASHED IT EVERY DAY FOR 3 MONTHS WITHOUT FAIL!
Now, I have 'on hand' 20 Ivermectin and my homeopathic (that worked well in conjunction with everything else I really believe that!)lotion/shampoo/soap AND (thank God it's just my husband who lives with me)had him do everything with me EXCEPT the Ivermectin (he did not get it!awesome!)and have a 'residual' (this is normal and is NOT 'active scabies', you will KNOW the difference, believe me!)occasional itching that is less and less.
However, because I am very 'guarded' about this, tomorrow, 4/22/2014 I will take first thing in the morning, one, '4' pill dosage of Ivermectin before eating and wait at least one hour before eating (just like before)(3mg)because we will be going on a trip and that stuff is so great that should any 'scabies' try to 'take a ride' on me, IT WILL DIE!
Take HIGH doses of Vitamin C the very best kind of vitamin C is Lypospheric C .it is equivalent to vitamin C IV's a little pricey, but worth it. Ester C is cheaper and it works, High doese of Vitamin C should stop the crazy itching in it's tracks, do this for a 3 to 4 times a day for few days this should help you gain some time and sanity to figure out the cause. Another idea is if you can get lined up with vitamin C IV'S.
Okay this is what I know, for what it's worth
Ask the MD for a full CBC AND Metabolic panel
get copies of all your tests keep in a file. Take it with you when you see ND/MD this will makes things a lot easier for you especially if you are tracking information..
Run and hire a ND get tested for mycoplamsa, Fungus, candida overgrowth and parasites
Know that fungus can cause crazy itching and may eat all the iron in your body so if you have low ferritin/ iron well there is reason for it.
Find out if the ND does live blood analysis this might shed light on the cause pretty fast. If they don't offer it ask if they know someone who does offer it. MD's do not offer this sort of test, too bad.
The auto-immune slant, well I believe from my research that this is caused by a bacteria, mycoplasma , nano-particles etc... all of this can be effectively killed and cured . I think there is some recent research in the UK indicating exactly this ... Do your research
Here are some ideas:
If you have rash go directly to the dermatologist have it biopsied and have it sent straight to the lab.
Could it be liver toxicity? Hormones? Low thyroid which you mentioned? Could it be mites if so go to earth clinic for cures. Could it be mercury poisoning this can cause some serious symptoms also biting feeling itching...dO have mercury fillings in your teeth? Consider removal.
If you can get a Clifford test, this is an chemical/metal allergy test. My MD thinks porcelain fillings are the best choice. Again get tested so you know for sure. I think for Mercury testing an ND might be a better choice because the MD will give you a blood test this is NOT the test you want, the urine test is superior. My friend eats tons of seafood, and since seafood are mercury magnets well the blood test showed high mercury levels now this could be simply from eating seafood the night before the blood test or high levels could been because an overdose diet of seafood so the level are so high.that they are actually showing up in the blood... again I'm no expert here. So I would see an ND or consider a heavy metal specialist type of MD or an enviromental Science of Med MD. Do you have root canals? I think root canals should be outlawed they are so dangerous, if you have them well consider extraction by a holistic dentist/oral surgeon and have implants put in.
Consider throwing away or stopping all of your shampoos and soaps, detergent and lotions. Read a case where someone had crazy all over the body itching it was an ingredient in the shampoo all along. I would buy all natural products it is safer. Check out the fibers your wearing and sleeping in. Consider organic cotton sheets, and wearing organic cotton clothes.
What was going on in your life a few months before this happened? Also where are you living? Did you work around mold, paint chemical etc..Where did you grow up and what did you live around? Did you ever live in lead painted house, did you have lead pipes or lead fittings? Look at the plants, in or around your home. Do you drink alcohol? Could it be sulfites or yeast?
High acid blood can cause itching, get alkalized.
Consider taking Lugols 2-5 drops a day . Look up Dr Truss reseach
Consider stoping all sugar, dairy, perservatives, dyes and wheat, and vitamins. Until you can get allergy test do the SCRATCH test, I think the blood allergy test is not accurate. My friend is deathly allergic to vitamin D pills, it took months to figure it out she was almost disabled from it.
A couple easy ways to relieve itching apply Benotonite clay throughout the body to help detoxification and rinse the clay off this will assist in stopping the itching. Buy eucaplyptus oil and lavender oil put a a few drops into a bath soak for 20-30 minutes. This relieves itching.
Taking an organic apple cider vinegar bath also may do the trick. Espom salt bath may also help by drawing out the toxins and increasing magnesuim levels
Consider taking cold pressed flax seed oil Omega 3 oils and vitamin E ( not the soybean one) increase water intake .These are my suggestions
Rub yourself down with Noxzema and see what comes out. If you get white and black larvae coming out of your skin, you may have cutaneous strongyloides. I had the terrible itching too, and the Noxzema, coconut oil and Bentonite clay packs finally brought it under control.
Noxzema lotion? I'll give it a try, but I have a feeling my problem might be microscopic. I have never seen any visual signs. I do use coconut oil on my skin pretty frequently, and eat it sometimes. eating i think 3 tablespoons has made me very sick and vomit before. i might be a little allergic. When I put it on my sick, it could be placebo, but i think i notice an increase in itchiness.
