I don't get much TV any more and I believe this is one of the reasons why it jumps out at me so easily whenever I visit somebody who has their TV turned on and a commercial ad for prescription drugs comes on.
First thing that jumps out at me is - do people ever really listen to these commercials... I mean reallly listen with full focused attention ? Especially when the tv ad gets to the part where the quiet voice - over is phased in towards the end of the ad and gently whispers advice and warnings such as " stop taking _______ if you experience seizures....or liver damage... or heart palpitations.....or failing kidneys...or oily discharge from the rectum....or you see blue streaks....or your hair begins to fall out....or..... or...." How do you think that kinda risk stacks up against a little bit of Comfrey?
I look at people like my aged mother who I know, sadly, sits in front of her tv hours every day with that glossy-eyed glow of MSM-sponsored Alpha brainwave activity, and I know that she is a perfect of example of somebody who is watching and listening BUT does not really hear this kind of info given out by the same dark side FDA gang that is concerned about you running into a little bit of Comfrey.
You are soooo right...it's so sad we've been conditioned to be terrified of nature, but have unconditional trust in the chemical concoctions created by 'scientists'. It just amazes me that anyone with a semi-logical mind can sit and watch those commercials and not be outraged that these drugs are being promoted supposedly to 'heal' disease.
I'm right there with both of you! It's just crazy that people buy into those drugs advertised on TV, it's sick really. How can a person believe that the advertised drug is good for them or can help them when they give all those dire warnings at the end? It just goes to show how conditioned people are to trusting the medical field!
Because some former child actor or professional athlete is on it and fine. And they think those things won't happen to them,its just a small rare cases. Boy are they wrong!!! Has anybody noticed the increase in commercials for attorney office asking if youve taken such n such drug and you could get a settlement for your suffering! Can't these ppl put this stuff together in their head?? HELLO!! WAKE UP FLORIDE HEADS!!! And not only that but the commercials for fast food nowadays is ridiculous!! How their conditioning ppl to eat it three meals a day...no wait,FOUR. Don't forget your fourth meal at Taco Bell at 2am!!!
