But not for the reason you would think. We were driving on the freeway, and I was happily chatting along to my husband about what a great flush I'd had, all the monster stones that came out, and then suddenly, I couldn't breathe. Just couldn't breathe. It was horrible. We flagged down a nearby ambulance, who gave my oxygen, and I was getting worse by the second. Couldn't walk, my hands and arms went stiff...uggg....transported me to the nearest hospital, where they shot me up with ativan and morphine, and then I got better. They said it was an anxiety attack. I'm so mad. never was in the ER before this month, and now it's twice from these gallstones. So how is an anxiety attack related to the flush, and what can I do to avoid it in the future? Thank you.
AND, to add insult to injury, they took an ultrasound and said I was packed full of stones, and needed my gallbladder out, ARGH! (This was a completely different hospital from my local one, as I was far from home.)
I've always been skeptical of liver flushes to be honest. I read a report that examined what came out of some people on a study done and the "stones" that came out weren't actually stones they were clumps of the ingredients used during the flush.
Yes the Liver Flush is absolute nonsense supported only by anecdotes that you would get from any placebo. I agree with the above post, the stones that come out of you are no more then the mixture of juice and oil you consume before the flush. How many people have actually taken their apparent Gallstones to a facility to be tested? Few I bet.
Geez, Louis guys, I had a really serious problem yesterday, and I'm looking for some support. Could you please start your own thread, and not hikack mine?
And P.S. you should try it yourself to prove it to yourself one way or another. I passed out hundreds of old gnarly gallstones. I just have a lot more to do, and I will, in successive flushes.
I don't know what your problem is. I was giving you a possible explanation for why you did a liver "flush" and then went a found out you had so many Gallstones it was recommended that you get the gallbladder removed.
I also think your anxiety was caused by a tremendous strain on the adrenals caused by fat fasting before.
...and P.S. Did you actually have those "stones" analyzed by a lab to figure out what was in them? If not, then you have no idea if they were stones or not. They could have been little round clumps of feces comprised of the oil, juice and salts you consumed during the flush. Which is the more likely case anyway.
Explain to me how it is that 16 HC flushes with stones, then several after with the same ingredients and no stones ... rejuvenated liver ... renewed digestion ... should I go on?
I want you to tell me why the surgeon that removed my mother's gall bladder was playing around in the surgical suite with flush ingredients to create stones to confuse us. Her surgically removed stones looked precisely like my flushed ones ... the ones on videos on youtube where they disect the gallbladder looked precisely like my flushed stones. Where are you reading this crap?
Sorry your thread is being overrun by jerks who don't know what the purpose of the "debate" threads are for...if I had any helpful suggestions, I'd give them to you, but otherwise, I figured it would be nice to know you're not the only one who gets annoyed with idiots who read one skeptical report and use that to blind themselves to the dozens (if not hundreds) of positive real life reports of people who have improved a myriad of conditions using liver flushes. They're probably still using Vioxx since all the early reports about it claimed it was perfectly safe...
Take a look at the original post. It was posted across the board to several different forums. I never post or look at the Liver Flush forum, they posted it in the adrenal fatigue forum where I post consistently because I have low cortisol.
...and since we're on the subject of posting in the correct forum, what exactly does this have to do with adrenal fatigue?
The reason you're getting non-supportive responses, in response to liver flushing, is because it was posted in unrelated forums.
I posted in the Adrenal Forum because I thought anxiety attacks were caused by weak adrenals. But i could be totally wrong. I don't really know a lot about them, so I was looking for some answers. Yesterday was pretty traumatic, flagging down an ambulance on the freeway, and having your kids watch as their mom is loaded onto the gurney, and they're crying "Don't die, mom, please don't die!"It is a scary thing when you can't breathe, and don't know why.
No, you're right about that. I was more directing that to the people who dogpiled me for posting my opinion.
Having had a massive panic attack where I thought I was dying and called an ambulance myself I understand how traumatic it is and am sorry you experienced such a thing.
They are sometimes, but not always caused by weak adrenals. Mine were caused by my adrenals, but lots of other things can too. Thyroid issues, intestinal issues, candida, mineral/vitamin deficiencies, pituitary/hypothalamus problems, low blood sugar unrelatd to adrenal problems, high insulin levels, high blood sugar....too many to name them all.
Sometimes it's idiopathic too. When you mentioned not being able to breathe I thought allergy first, not panic. Were you having an allergy symptoms too?
Oh, no. How can I ever get to the bottom of it? It came out of the blue, right after the Liver Flush. No, I have no allergies or diabetes; just a few food sensitivities.
I also don't appreciate being called an idiot. Furthermore, I haven't read just one skeptical "report". I've read a lot of them, and several of them actually physically analyzed the "stones" and found that they contained zero cholesterol (which is the basic building block of the stone combined with the bile salts of the liver) and were nothing more than the oil, salts and juice consumed during the flush.
In essence, these are feces, not gallstones.
Also, I'm very much against pharmaceuticals and won't even take an aspirin for a headache. The last time I took medication was when I was a minor and was forced to. Don't go making assumptions about people you don't know.
As you found out crossposting makes things more complicated. In this case it would have been better first
to see if people in the liverflush forum had this experience.
My suggestion in general is always try the searchbox, in this case liverflush and then also click on All forums to see if it has been discussed in other forums.
I tried "anxiety" in lf box and I found this thread, this is the only one I read so you can look if there is more.
OK, thanks. I did do a search, first, but didn't find the answers. I thought since the CureZone gives you the option of posting on multiple forums it was encouraged. But what do I know, I am just new and looking for help.
