Just when I thought all the flush side affects were gone, I get a sore spot on my right thigh, kind of on the outside. It feels like a big bruise on the inside, but there is no marking. It started yesterday, and nothing I can do is relieving the pain. I did a big search of these forums and I found that that spot is the gallbladder meridian! So...do you think my gallbladder is telling me it wants a flush right now? That's the message I am getting. But again, I haven't done all the prep work--the stone crushers, apple juice, phos drops, etc. Also, it has only been 10 days since the last one. That is the only thing keeping me back--fear of the stones getting stuck (had acute pancreatitis pre-flush, no fun.) Last time I passed some really giant ones. A lot of giant ones, actually.
P.S. Sorry if I am being redundant. I am just genuinely confused. I have read on here that if your body is signaling that it is time for a flush, then do it. I have also read NOT to flush without days of prep--apple juice or phos drops, no fat, etc. The messages are conflicting.
The thing is, everybody has a different take on everything concerning flushes. Do what feels right to you. With time you'll be able to tell whether it's too early or it's ok to take a chance. Now judging from you previous flush, I would think that the remaining stones have shifted and might be causing pressure on a certain point. They might also be right next to the exit waiting for the next flush. You'll never know until you give it a shot. Keep in mind that everybody's body reacts differently and what might be right for them might not be the best thing for you.
Thanks for responding! I was trying to wait a minimum of two weeks, with at least 3 days prep. But I think you are spot on. I think there are stones in there, screaming to get out. Do you think they would still be soft from all the prior phos drops, apple juice, Rowachol, Pulverexx, Stone Free, and castor oil packs? Or do they only stay soft for a few days, then harden up again?
They don't harden if they're cholesterol stones. Even calcified stones aren't a problem even if they're hard. A lot of people here flush without preparation and have great results. I think what mostly happens during the prep is that they get un-clumped and easier to move out. some might get softer but I wouldn't worry about the duration of that.
Thanks. I think the really big ones I passed were cholesterol stones. Those are the ones with the green/black tarry insides, right? I did pass some irregularly shaped smaller ones, that were very hard. They were one color, and solid. In fact, kind of reminded me of my kid's teeth when they fall out! So those were probably calcifed ones.
I have done LFs oftener than 2 weeks. When I was very congested I would do 3 LFs every other day. This did exhaust my bile pool so had to wait longer than two weeks for it to recover. Usually when your bile pool has recovered you stools will be a darker brown. Eating fiber with each meal helps bile production as do many foods and supplements. Do a search for 'increasing bile'
