I need help figuring out which chelation method would help me.
ALL my metals are off the charts. There are so many ways to chelate, too (glutathione, cilantro/chlorella, cutler, ALA, IV EDTA, DMSA, DMPS....) What should I do?
I also have a +3 unidentifiable yeast/fungal/mold infection, GI issues (gastroparesis, gerd, constipation, leaky gut, abnormal stools, ibs/ibd, etc), fms/cfs, hormonal/nutritional/neurotransmitter imbalances, osteporosis, adrenal fatigue, hypothyroid, muscle wasting, low wt, food intolerances.....
Also, what binders/vacuums do I use to grab on to the toxins?
I think that rather than trying to put together a program yourself it would be easier and more effective to choose one of the detox programs put together by an expert. I have seen several online that seem to work well. Many of these programs advise doing a dental cleanup - removing all metal fillings and other fillings that contain pollutants. Hulda Clark and others advise doing this first along with some cleanses before starting a serious detox program. Several of these cleansing programs are featured on the Liver Flush Support Forum.
I suggest you try the Cutler Protocol. Make sure you use DMSA since it works on more than one metal. It's expensive, but it would likely give you the most bang for your buck. Other chelators are mostly good for either mercury or lead. I'm a bit confused about ALA though and whether it's only good for mercury or if it works for other metals too.
Any idea where all those metals came from? You really need to find out and protect yourself from them.
My health problems improved a lot after I chelated for a while. It's likely that it would help you too; especially if your metals are so high.
I can't find a step-by-step/instructional web site for cutler...all i find are forums or links to his book.
Can u point me to the right direction as to how I can do this protocol?
I have no idea how I got these metals. I did eat a glass/mercury thermometer as a toddler, but it doesn't explain the rest of the metals like arsenic, etc... Fish? In-vitro? Just a poor detoxification system?
Whats your opinion of the glutathione route? I heard this is supposed to be great!
Side note:
I found preliminary results of a stool test that was sent STAT to my chiro. What scares me is that he said that the lab NEVER sends STAT reports before the rest of the lab results are in....he said that this means that my infection is very serious. I have a rare infection of:
Aeromonas sobris and aeromonas cerviae.
Have u heard of these? God only knows what else is brewing, but the lab said that the only cure is Cipro. I'd rather avoid such a heavy-duty antibiotic, for that may cause more harm than good.
There isn't much info out there, but it is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, rod-shaped, facultatively anaerobic bacteria?
Good overview, treatment, presentation, causes. Maybe my "MRSA" infection was actually the aeromonas, but it didn't show up on the culture sample.... I still get flareup of cellulitis in my hand at random times (not to mention the acne and GI issues). Did the Vanco make it worse?
Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Any suggestions?
Should I do the Cipro, or is there another alternative? I'm afraid it might cause secondary infections....should I take an anti-fungal with this to prevent candida?
My chiro wants me to do MMS (which I have been doing for the last couple weeks), but I've heard that H202 works better, without the possible side effects of MMS. And, it's been around longer, thus it has been researched more. It is similar to ozone therapy, but cheaper (IDK much about ozone, but I heard it's really fantastic....if u can afford it)
I haven't tried the boosting-glutathione-only route, so I can't tell you anything from personal experience. Boosting glutathione is an important part of any chelating program. My feeling is that glutathione would be most effective if used with another chelator, but I would be interested in hearing from people who successfully chelated using the "natural method."
I learned from my colon therapist to just buy whatever coffee is on sale. Right now I have Maxwell House. I'd say don't use decaf. And don't try to put espresso into your regular coffee maker (obviously).
It's not messy at all.
The coffee does 2 things (at least)from what I understood from therapist. It softens the water and it stimulates peristalsis.
Basically I use coffee enemas to efficiently clear my colon of all the debris coming down.
Currently I am doing a parasite ridding program. I figure the faster I get them OUT the better.
