I take about 2 grams of buffered vitamin c together with about 10 grams of chlorella and 10 grams of spirulina and then after that I take a "100-B complex" capsule. I just read that taking chlorella with vitamin c was counterproductive because it makes the chlorella hold on to the metals it's supposed to help chelate.
I got the information from here: http://www.peak-health-now.com/chlorella-protocol.html
I could not find any other source of this assertion hence my concern. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
"It tends to loosen the binding of the mercury and other heavy metals the chlorella is holding!"
There are no foot notes or citations. I'd like a lot more information before I place any real value on that statement.
I take both C and Chlorella together with very positive results. Vitamin C loosens the toxins from your organs and other storage points in the body. Based on the color of my output alone, i'd say that the Chlorella mops it up pretty well.
