Tuesday afternoon I got a terrible cramp in my neck. I couldn't get up from bed. I missed school, and had to call out of work, which freaked me out cause it's my second week on the job, and I missed some important tests in a few of my classes. I went to the doctors Thursday and she told me it was muscle spasms. Gave me some muscle relaxers, told me to use heat, stretch, and massage. I've been using ibuprofen too. I typically wouldn't use anything. But I needed to get back to work and school, and I was tired of being bed ridden. It was honestly terrible...
I recently started doing higher doses of wormwood...
Is it having an affect on me?
Or is it due to worms dying...?
Because I have read something about both...
The cramping seems to get worse after a few hours of taking the tea(wormwood). I'm thinking about stopping the wormwood. But it has been the only thing that helps me with getting my sense of smell back. And if the stuff has finally gotten deeper in my body and is killing those bugs then I don't want to stop either...
This is terrible! I don't know which to chose because either way I feel like it's affecting my health...
Only drink the wormwood to the degree your body can handle it. If your putting additional stress from taking too much of anything it takes away from it's benefits. Certain herbs will definitely cause muscle cramps/spasms, I would ease back on your daily doses.
I understand the desire to eliminate unwanted guests, but you also have to be able to get through the day... find that balance to where you know your helping your body remove unwanted guests but not putting so much stress from die off that it is keeping you bed ridden.
I don't know how long you've been taking wormwood, or at what doses, but this is what the people who sell it say. Remember, just because something is herbal doesn't make it safe at any dosage.
Well, I deiced to stop Wormwood....
I still have the spasms, but I guess it's only been two days.... I'm going to try and go to the gym tonight and sit in the the steam room... I'm beginning to lose my sense of smell again.
How long should I wait to go back on Wormwood?
I basically was taking it for a 2.5 months.
I really feel like this infection (of worms) is just too hard to conquer, I can no longer work out... Which is one of my favorite things to do. I haven't been able to smell for 6 years.... They are literally sucking the life out of me. And now muscle spasms, along with a bunch of other issues...? I'm too young to be this unhealthy. It really, deeply depresses me.
So, you could try using some different herbs for a change, while you aren't using Wormwood.
Maybe even make your own tinctures from them. Just put the herbs in a jar with 40 % alcohol (use as much alcohol, so the herbs are covered). Then wait 1 month for it to finish, and shake the jar once a day to ensure good absorption.
As I have understood, the tinctures which are made in alcohol, are much more effective, than just eating the herb.
