Hormones... by  hatemirena11  18 mon  418  Mirena So My doctor has tested for synthetic hormones and another one that now i can't remember but what about my "regular hormones"? Can you test that? I just feel that if while I am (and I am sorry I am getting real personal)having sex with the hubs why I feel worse afterwards! Especially if I have an orgasm...doesn't that mean something could be outta whack. My doctor said my synthetic hormones were normal or didnt have any so I just wondered if anyone has had similar experiences with these symptoms after sex and what all your doctors have tested for... I have this same problem as well and it's bothersome. I also have a problem with having an orgasm. I simply can't often times. I read this article how heavy metals intervene with a womans and man's hormones and to balance ur hormones again one must DETOX it's definitely mandatory along with homeopathic medicine. He said it messes with a women's progestrone levels usually making it low and causing their estrogen levels high. It's true because my progestrone level is 0.8 and my estrogen level is 187 which is high but yet my dr told me it was normal but when I goggled the normal range it states my progest was really low and estrogen was really high. Anxiety is a symptom of low progestrone too. I wish I knew my levels before Mirena but I'm convinced the Mirena made my hormones out of wack.
