Doc thinks I may have porphyria, but he keeps running tests and does nothing.
Have dark skin but very photosensitive where others have the melanin to protect them, mine does not apparently.
Bottom of soles of feet the skin was peeling in thick layers to the point of bleeding. Lasted a few weeks but healed on it's own. Was afraid at first that I might be diabetic.
Have a persistant rash on ankles like eczema where I can pull up two layers of skin off that scabs over and reveals white skin underneath.
Gets this mean, red and very hot rash above upper lip. Very chronic condition. Anti fungal cream does seem to keep that in check a bit.
About a month ago, I broke out in what looks to be a severe sunburn over the entire chest and upper torso. Felt like I had walked thru a furnace. Left marks on my body. Had oozed a white liquid, only thing is my clothes and been on and I had not sunbathed.
I can make some general suggestions but do not have an idea of what is causing your problems.
I sunburn easily and have gotten sunburned thru light clothing.
When my heels show cracks and itch I take increased zinc and it clears up. Do a search for zinc deficiency.
Have you been tested for gluten intolerance/sensitivities. Celiac disease is common in both caucasians and the native people of Mexico, Guatemala and some places in South America and can cause skin problems.
Ask your Dr if you have been tested for glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (g6pd) deficiency.
It could be you are toxic with heavy metals or pollutants. There are both medical and online tests and medical chelations or detoxification programs online.
