I ordered the Silvonic Nanoparticle Colloidal Silver Generator with Auto Shut-off from http://www.elixa.com/silver/index.html
but after 24 hours, it didn't shut off. I put it at the 15 ppm holes. Should it take that 24 hours plus to shut off? I did test the colloidal silver water and it was about 10-11 ppm which is sufficient. Also, do you have any suggestions as to where I can purchase glass canning jars? I did buy one at Walmart (20 ounce with plastic lid) but I was wondering if I need to disinfect the glass jar prior to use? Do I need to disinfect the container I store the colloidal silver in prior to storage? I just poured some distilled water in the glass jar I used prior to making the colloidal silver and shook it to loosen any debris and poured the water. Is that sufficient to cleanse the container prior to making the colloidal silver?
I've used the Silvonic for about 2 years and never had a problem. It comes with a TDS meter so I can check the distilled water first. The automatic shut off means never ruining a batch by forgetting about it. It makes clear CS that doesn't degrade in light.
The people at Elixa are very helpful and will take as much time as needed to answer questions.
I like that it has a lifetime warranty and is made in US!
