I want to detox and support my liver (still trying to figure out which liver herbs I need). It seems all herbs for the liver can be estrogenic(spelling?) I was thinking about using Milk thistle and see if can raise estrogen. I am estrogen dominant and don't want my hormones going more out of balance. Can someone tell me if there is anything I can use for my liver that won't cause me hormonal changes.
thanks so much
Maggie
PS I have bladder problems all the time (IC). I know it is from fungus/mycotoxins and read where it is the liver trying to deal with so many toxins that it then puts the burden on the kidneys and that is why I have all these bladder issues (pain, burning, and inflammation) basically cystitis, which we know is all connected to candida and other fungal problems. I also have aspergillius.
Have you thought about doing a liver flush? the coke flush or The Clark Flush ?
Dr. Schultz has a liver detox and kidney detox. I was tempted to do those, but they involve drinking lots of juice which I didn't think I could do.
You can read the personal story of the lady who created the liver detox system with chinese herbs/tinctures. You can also contact them via the contact us tab and share your personal struggles and how you are feeling. Rebecca, (she's the one who responded to my inquiries anyways) will respond with a generous in length email which explains to you why your ailments may be connected to your liver. I did two of their liver flushes in the summer (everything is outlined on the website), and I wish I could say they made a big difference. I believe they did help to clear a lot of gunk out of my system, but I did the cleanses a long with foot detoxes to make sure that all of the stuff I was detoxing was not going back into my body. The sauna also can help with this a lot.
For your hormones though, I recommend Chastberry (Vitex). Go with the brand MediHerb. MediHerb calls it Chastetree. I have tried to balance my hormones for years upon years, and this is the only product that has worked! How do I know? Finally my persistant zits are going away and after being on it for three months, this is the firs tmonth that I had absolutely no crazy moodswings or pms. I am so greatful.
I was hopiung the liver detoxes would help with my hormones too, it may have helped indirectly. Like, my body was able to respond better to the chastberry because my liver was cleansed.
Part of the lvier cleanse is a gallbladder flush. I removed over fifty stones, some as big as a brussel sprout. Gross! The puzzling thing? After doing two cleanses and flushes, my immune system was suffering... was very depleted/exhausted, from doing too much detoxing. So be cautious of the detox you choose. I ended up still getting gallbladder pains, yet an ultrasound showed I had no stones (the ultrasounds can be inaccurate however). YEt.. as I began to strengthen my immunity with L-Glutamine powder.. the aches and pains in the gallbladder vanished. So ultimately, you need to build yourself up.
I think one liver cleanse may be good, but it's all about timing. If your hormones are way out of wack too... I'd maybe balance them out with chastberry first and then do a liver cleanse (only one) in the summer-the best time for liver cleansing. Don't want to stress this organ out in the winter, this ialready the most challenging time for our livers and internal organs to function.
Best of luck. Please try chastberry. It has saved my life and is all natural, encourages the pituitary to secrete the access progesterone your body needs to balance the levels of testosterone/estrogen in your system.
The only reason anyone has candida is because they have upset the balance of the good bacteria and the bad by either antibiotics or taking in some other kind of OTC drug, doctor's drugs or other kinds of poison. Most people have.
Doing the liver flushes will clean out the liver which will allow the blood, lymphatic system and tissues to clean out. What's left is doing a good colon cleanse. The only reason candida remains is to cleanup the dead tissue just like any of the other parasites.
It's going to take a while to get rid of it permanently and get the colon healthy and the rest of the body healthy again.
Your body needs ionic minerals to be able kill off the bacterial problems in the intestines. Most people are deficient in all the minerals--major and trace, magnesium being the principal one. Mag citrate and pure ionic fulvic acid bottled in glass ---http://www.optimallyorganic.com--- is what I recommend. Get your levels of magnesium up so you can detox properly.
Candida can do alot more than just clean up dead tissue. It makes us feel like dead tissue with all the toxins(ammonia, alcohols), invasive enzymes, and inflammation it causes.
You're right. It causes a lot of pain and anxiety, too. Can make a person feel mentally unbalanced. This is where the medical really takes advantge and gives people the benzo drugs and antidepressants-- as if that would stop the symptoms. Very few MDs if any recognize what a problem the different forms of Candida are. Many cases of misdiagnosis. I think the medical misdiagnoses most of the time. They won't admit that at the bottom of all disease is the poisons (drugs), radiation, and parasites.
B5 or pantothenic acid helps it stop proliferating. I think the other one is biotin.
I've experienced a lot of the inflammation and swelling as the colon heals. Not as bad as it was a few months ago. Cleaning out the colon and body WILL get rid of the excess tho, eventually, because there won't be anything more for it to feed on.
