After my 4th flush I developed these terrible rashes on my arms and legs. I also got a yeast infection and was having terrible bloating.
After my 5th flush the bloating got better, but the rashes remain. I just did my 6th flush last weekend and still have these terrible rashes and got another yeast infection. I am putting this salve on it with tumeric and stuff in it it is made by Our father's herbs I think (I bought it off ebay). I have also tried some tea tree lotion made by derma e. Nothing seems to be helping.
Oh yeah, and I have had a rash on my back and chest for over a year now and the tea tree lotion helps a little, but not completely.
I/my son have received good results with food grade diamateceous earth. It does leave a clay like layer on your skin. Put it on at home unless its covered up with your clothes. www.earthworks.com or any food grade DE.
No, I am working with a holistic dentist right now and I have a lot of things he wants to work on first. Like my thyroid/adrenals/liver/gallbladder. Also my digestion has been terrible. he wants to get my digestion going before he starts me on any anti yeast protocol. It sucks because they are so painful/itchy/disgusting.
So you are saying just mix the DE with some water and apply it to the rash? Lucky for me this is happening in the winter time so my arms are not visible.
I bought these huge bandaids and have been putting the salve on it under bandaids, but it doesn't seem to be doing much. I will try the DE, because I have some at home. Thank you so much for the idea.
De has cured 95% of my athletes foot. It automatically stops the itching. My son had a rash and dried it up. For some reason DE worked better than other clays I tried. DE worked better than tee tree oil for me.
Hi, James. I have been trying the DE on my rashes and I"m not sure if it is working. Do you know how long you did it for? The rashes are oozing something out of them and earlier one was bleeding. on my one arm I now have red bumps all over it. I feel itchy all over and have rashes all over, it's like I don't want anyone to touch me (including my bf). Just wondering if I should keep doing it (it's been about 5 days I think?) Maybe I should just stop. I started taking candex again, man this is frustrating. OK sorry for venting.
I did De for a little over a month. After about a month of applying DE it did bleed and ooze and my foot was more irritating during this time. But i realized it was drawing the infection out. Then it improved. I would only work on one small area at a time to see if it will help or not. Maybe avoid the area where it is causing excessive itching. Some other ideas are lavender oil , calendula, aloe gel, topical zinc. If the DE is causing it to spread than it might not be working. For some of the inflammation you can put a towel in the freezer for a little bit and then apply to the inflammed area. Its important to not eat any foods that might cause the itching. For me it was fructose(especially hard to digest sugars..lactose), peanut butter etc...
Did you buy the food grade DE? The DE could be drying your skin too much? The foot does tend to hold more moisture because of wearing socks....De might work better with athletes foot? . When I worked at the vitamin store we had a topical zinc that worked well for peoples eczema. Although, I cant remember what type of zinc it was.
yes, it is food grade DE. Ok so you did it for about a month? Yeah, I am also concerned that it seems to be spreading now with these bumps developing. I also got a rash back on my right hand, which had gone away for a couple of weeks and now it is back and huge.
I don't know how to figure out if any particular food might be causing it. I gave up sugar over a year ago and dairy longer than that. I think it is linked to the liver flushing and that small intestine cleanse that I did because that is when it developed. I haven't really been doing any antifungal treatment since then, because I was on this regimen that the holistic dentist gave me.
I am going to start drinking Essiac Tea , have you ever heard of it? I read about it in Andreas Mortiz's book. I took it in with me to the dentist and it muscle tested very strongly. Candex and some probiotics from renew life that I had also tested good, so I am going to take those too. It was funny I took in probably 20 different supplements I had and only those 3 tested that I actually needed them!
I have other rashes on my chest and back that I have had for probably 4 yrs at least now, which before I knew better was using steroid cream almost daily on and keeping it under control. The tea tree lotion works ok, but not that well against it. I don't know if that is related to candida, or if that is just having toxic blood. The iridiologist I saw recommended a few products and one is a blood purifier and she also said I could try putting that on my rashes and acne. It is called blue flag from a company called good herbs. Maybe I will just wait and try that.
True healing is going to happen from the inside out. If the rashes are surfacing in different areas of the body and reoccuring then using topical apps might just help it temporarily. Candex might cause your rash to get worst because of the toxins it releases from die off---if it even causes die-off. Essiac---careful with the rhubarb it can be a little hard on the kidneys. If you do it keep an eye on your electrolytes. It can act as a diurectic. I would use non-chlorinated water for showering, make sure your soap is free of chemicals...etc...If your trying so many things at once it might be hard to pinpoint whats working and what isnt. When I'm experimenting with something I always try to do one thing at a time so I can pinpoint the reaction im getting. I usually take it on a empty stomach to get the true reaction as well. I dont know if I would rely on muscle testing. Ive seen it done quite often and not always being accurate. If your candida is down to a minimum then renew life probiotics might be worth a try.
What kind of liver cleanse and small intestine cleanse did you do? What was in them?
How do you check your electrolytes? I am getting more and more desperate. I'm trying to be patient, but I feel like I'm not making that much progress sometimes. I have really bad brain fog sometimes, like I feel like I'm high. Then sometimes feel like I'm going to pass out. It is so hard to concentrate and stay focused and I have noticed my short term memory has been really bad too. Both the iridologist and holistic dentist said I have adrenal issues and endocrine issues. I can't tell if my issues are from the candida and I need to tackle that?
I don't want to hurt my kidneys, please let me know if you know a way I can monitor to see if it is having a negative effect. Like you said you do one thing at a time, I just started the Essiac today and I had ordered the other herbs from Good Herbs and was going to start those as soon as they came too. She suggested cell salts, wormwood and blue flag. I hope it's not too much.
The small intestine cleanse that I did was called Oxypowder. I did a 7 day cleanse followed by a liver cleanse and I was also doing the kidney cleanse tea at the time when these new rashes started (and had my Amalgams removed). The liver cleanses I do are from Andreas Moritz with the Epsom Salt and the olive oil/grapefruit juice. I drink malic acid the 6 days before the cleanse instead of apple juice. It is weird, usually when I do the liver cleanses, the malic acid makes me even more constipated and the brain fog gets worse. The last one I did made my face break out more too.
Electrolytes...Blood pressure is too low---need more sodium. Blood pressure too high less sodium--more potassium. Low sodium levels seem to affect me more than anything because most foods contain plenty of potassium. Although too much sodium can cause potassium imbalances(sodium/potassium pump) Magnesium might be a little hard to come by but I try to rely on diet for magnesium. Not a big fan of hard to digest mineral supps. Can be hard on a weakened GI tract.
Sounds like you might have been doing too much cleansing at once causing too much toxins/inflammation to be released at once. Might be the reason why your rashes got worst. The malic acid might have inflammed your gut too much causing too much mucus production leading to more constipation.
She suggested wormwood? Have you been tested for parasites? Parasite herbs can be harsh on the Gi tract. I wouldnt do parasite cleanse unless I had more confirmation. Global health products did nothing for me.
Curability had a few topical recommendations. Have you tried those?
The consistent rashes definetly sound like some sort of immune/gut imbalances. Candida? Do you have bad reactions to anti-fungals? Does sugar cause head fog/bloating?
Mccombs plan is a good place to start. You might have to modify some of his diet depending on your individual situation.
That's funny, I had pretty low blood pressure the last time I got it checked it was several months ago but it was 90/60. I had a hair analysis done almost a yr ago and it said my sodium and potassium were both really low. The iridologist I saw said my potassium is super low too. She said the cell salts should help that. She recommended I take the magnesium drink "calm" to help with the constipation.
Is malic acid bad to use then? I think it is also an antifungal? Maybe I should cut it to 1/2 teaspoon a day instead of 1 tsp. Is that what you use?
She had this biofeedback machine that said I needed the wormwood. The dentist said I had parasites and he had me taking emulsified oregano for about 45 days, I am not sure if it did the trick. The first day I swear I saw a ton of huge worms, but that was about it. I think wormwood also helps with candida?
Yes, before when I used to take antifungals I would get terrible die off. Plus it didn't help that the constipation is so bad. I tried humaworm several months ago and I got terrible die off from that also. I did see a bunch of what looked like threadworms at that time. I tried syclovir and that also gave me hellacious die off. The last time I really ate sugar I did feel like crap afterwards. I don't eat it at all now except for the occasional item that has agave in it. I do get brain fog, but I have no idea what is causing it?? Sometimes I have it, other days I feel OK.
I looked up the powder curability mentioned, but the only stuff I can find has fragrance in it.
If you are saying you heal from the inside out, does that mean I am well on my way of healing? (wishful thinking) or it might be that the candida was hiding in my liver and the flushes caused it to come out and inhabit other parts of my body? One other weird thing is that I used to have really bad vaginal pain, like a terrible burning. THe liver flushes seemed to have helped that, I don't really have the pain anymore, but now I have these rashes.
Your blood pressure needs to be higher than 90 to not feel lethargic. I like to be at least 120 125ish. I feel much better when im at that range. You might need to supp with more sodium. Biofeedback told me i had a foot long worm. I dismissed biofeedback. I wouldnt rely on a dentist or iriodology to determine your overall health conditions. I would get more reliable testing done. If malic acid causes constipation avoid it. I dont see malic acid working that well for candida. Wormwood is more designed for parasites. Essiac( has rhubarb in it) i would hold off until you get your electrolytes/gut in more balance. Some herbs are diurectics and can cause drop in electrolyte levels. Ive learned this the hard way.
I would suggest doing the mccombs plan/diet and start off with candida force. Try doing some coconut oil...that will help with your metabolism/might help with your candida.
Do some solid testing. Jeff mccombs has some good suggestions on labwork. Use his search engine/ candida forum search engine and type in rashes and see what has worked/not worked for others.
So that was a bad idea putting all that different stuff on the rashes (and trying to smother it under bandaids)!! They have totally spread and became infected. I'm even getting red spots on my stomach and all over and my arms are covered! And legs and my hand has a terrible one now. The doctor claims it is an allergic reaction and wanted me to take prednisone and I said no way. She then offered a prescription for hydrocortisone and to mix it with benedryl and aquaphor. I'm afraid to use it!! My skin is totally raw on my one arm and I don't know if I want this crap going into my bloodstream! Do you think it is safe? Plus, what if it is a candida rash and this could make it worse? She did take a swab of it, but I won't know for a while. I totally screwed up and made things way worse.
What did you put on the rashes? I would have only worked on a very small area of the rash and if the substance caused it to spread ---stopped the application right away.
You need to know from the doctor what kind of infection your dealing with/ including some blood work analysis to be done . I would get off all supps and cleansing programs..give your body a break. I would focus on a strict diet that doesnt cause flare ups. Sounds like you might have done too much cleansing too fast. Your body might be having trouble handling much of anything right now.
You might need something to suppress the inflammation. Hard to say if the hydrocortisone will stimulate the infection. Sounds like your skin is very sensitive
A cool baking soda bath(chlorine free water) might help. Dr. Jeff mccombs is always helpful as well. He might have some more experience on peoples reaction with the benedryl and aquaphor app or other suggestions.
