montag and i were talking on the phone and he said he didnt see the difference between statism and the divine right of kings. i agree. and though the average person can see that having a king is unnecessary to an orderly society, they scream for statism. same arguments for. same reasons they are absurd. another great phrase he used: chaos is a byproduct of statism. i would say it different. chaos is THE product of statism. it threatens every liberty we have.
chaos is also the door to an ultimately liberated society,
once fear is annihilated
in a world where everything is illegal, which it is, because anyone can be framed and have drugs planted in their house or car, thusly falsely accused, arrested and removed from the mainstream
the only freedom is in how you relate to the world at large
are you friendly, or antagonistic?
is your neck long enough to see that those who kill are afraid of dying
those who maim are afraid of becoming handicapped
the only hope is to eliminate fear
the lord said to fear nothing
fear is what drives people
love is what motivates people
perhaps being in the midst of chaos is the opportunity to overcome fear and express love perfectly
ps
iodine is working
i spent 5 days on a tropical island laying out in the sun
and got a deep dark tan
no peeling
no burning
i haven't been out in the sun like that for years
last time i spent that much time in the sun was in my 20's
living on lake travis with a boat parked at rock marina
going swimming at arkansas bend every day
there is a safe place to sunbathe nude out there
you know
