that story is so horrible my mind is trying to deny that it's possible by laughing it off as ridiculous
can 20 year old men really get it up to rape an 80 year old woman?!?!?!?!?
how do they do it? are they just walking around with a perpetual erection for nothing? i thought men had to get turned on?!?!?!? in order to have sex!?!??!?!
could something like that turn him on????!!!!
here i go laughing again and feeling guilty about it, she wasn't all that much older than me!!!!!
seems like he would have burglarized the old folks and went out an raped a younger woman to celebrate
just trying to imagine what could have possibly compelled a young man to want to rape a lady that old????
was he in a gang?
was he instructed to do it as an initiation thing?
did he hate his grandmother?
was she mean to him?
who raised him?
lotsa folk been told a long time that peeples is all eekuls, even in the declaration of independence they wrote it, but only gave a 3/5 portion to the africans present. Few ponder it, but if peeples is eekuls, then there'd be no need for government whatsoever, all peeples being eekuls. Jeremy Bentham exposed the folly early on but if you read of him be forewarned that there's more than what you might find by internet links and clicks. Of course that's the modern way of thought in the new eekul school, to send links and links.
The way to dodge hedonistic accusations would necessarily involve acknowledgment that in order to be happy one must have all of ones needs met.
And
Since nobody can get their own needs met at the expense of someone else's needs and maintain a state of happiness, as the inevitable consequences of not giving a shinola about anyone but self, will always take a bite out of contentment in due time.
It is therefore obvious that sustainable happiness is only doable if and when everyone is unanimously concerned about everyone having all of their needs met, and working to see that this is an available option, to all of those who would like to participate.
Just a guess. Bob Solomon was one of my favorite professors at UT. I resonated with the little I read of Kirkegarde, Hegel, Beauchamp, Camus and Sartre.
Not sure if this is just a joke or urban legend but it rings true:
Story from a Kansas State Highway Patrol officer :
I made a traffic stop on an elderly lady the other day for speeding on U.S. 166 Eastbound at Mile Marker 73 just East of Sedan, KS. I asked for her driver’s license, registration, and proof of insurance. The lady took out the required information and handed it to me. In with the cards I was somewhat surprised (due to her advanced age) to see she had a conceal carry permit. I looked at her and ask if she had a weapon in her possession at this time. She responded that she indeed had a .45 automatic in her glove box. Something—body language, or the way she said it—made me want to ask if she had any other firearms. She did admit to also having a 9mm Glock in her center console. Now I had to ask one more time if that was all. She responded once again that she did have just one more, a .38 special in her purse. I then asked her what was she so afraid of. She looked me right in the eye and said, “Not a Damned Thing!”
