Along with Vitamin B3 deficiency(Niacinimide or Inositol Hexanicotinate Non flushing), Vitamin B6,Manganese, Selenium, Iron and Zinc deficiencies are usually present, as well, and are frequently the cause for pychiatric disorders of all kind. Namely, Pyroluria (aka. copper toxicity) a disorder which is subject to the above and cause of anxiety/panic disorder.
Alternatively you can seek out an Orthomolecular MD
in your area to help you who can administer your deficiencies with high therapeutic doses to repair your body.
Excerpt from Linus Paulings book "Orthomolecular Psychiatry on B3 and Histamine:
It is recommended that one buy only the highest quality natural nutrients that one can afford. Don't buy synthetic Vitamin E, make sure it's "Natural" Vitamin E. If one buys Vitamin B-12, then it should be the hydroxycobalamin form, NOT the cyanocobalamin form, as the cyano- form is not only useless to the body, but toxic, too. When one gets the high-potency multi-vitamin/multi-miniral supplement, (s)he should make sure it has NO iron, unless the lab tests show an iron deficiency. Finally, as far as Vitamin B-3 goes, one needs to make sure it's either the niacinamide or the "flush-free" niacin form. Which form of vitamin B-3 is best depends on the patient's specific medical history. Keep in mind that niacin is contraindicated in gout, peptic ulcer, hypertension, and diabetes (p. 642). Niacin has a hyperglycemic effect, and thereby increases the need for insulin. Any underlying hypoglycemia will need to be corrected before undertaking the protocol for schizophrenia (p. 640), otherwise it won't work. Which orthomolecular protocol is followed also depends on whether the patient is histadelic or histapenic (pp. 465-474).
It is *important* that you find out if you are Low or High Histamine before taking B3 reading Joan Mathews Larson's book. She has quizzes for various mood disorders to determine and dosage recommendations.
When talking about buying supplements in the United States, keep in mind that now all supplement manufacturers provide the same quality of supplements. Also, some supplements will mention the FDA on their container. Keep in mind that this is not an endorsement by the Food and Drug Administration. So, while Walmart may have the cheapest prices on supplements you might consider buying them from a health food store instead of Walmart who got them from who knows where.

"When talking about buying supplements in the United States, keep in

supplements."
Not true at all. Though I don't currently currently subscribe to
Consumer Labs I have in that past and at the site below you can see their
reports on all the supplement manufacturers that they test. Many of the
supplements they test don't have anywhere near the amount of the substance that
is on the label and many, many also have contaminated content. Unlike a
prescription drug producer, an over the counter supplement producer can put
anything he wants into the product. It is only when consumers complain
that they are tested. It is Orin Hatch of who wrote legislation supporting
the massive supplement industry of his home state of Utah who got this ugly
method of taking a product to market implemented.
From Consumer Lab reports I have found that anything that Costco sells
whether it is their house brand or someone else's brand - are always in
compliance with what the label says.
