my IUD story by  3800  13 mon  723  Mirena I can't get this thing out soon enough. I'd like to try to remove it myself but am afraid to cause damage or that it just won't come out. They had to put me out and do a D&C to get the copper one out.I couldn't take the pain when he tried in the office visit. I had gone to the Dr. a month ago to get mirena removed. I left office feeling irrational and crazy.He didn't want to remove it. Where I'm from you can't get another Dr.or even a nurse practitioner the waiting list is like 9000 people.I made an appt. for the 23 of April.This waiting feels way to long,I'm panicking just knowing what this thing is doing to me, and then I'm going to have to fight with him to get it out.These Drs don't think there's anything wrong with their products and toxic meds. When I went in the office, I didn't enter into conversation with him, just told him I wanted it out and he started to dispute...I said take it out. I don;t know where you are but in the US, they have to do it. Keep your confidence and strength up and don't give them the chance to argue with what you know !!
