It's amazing how much America is obsessed with germ phobia and clings to the mantra of better living though chemistry.
We told to wipe the handles of shopping carts with germ killer, get a flu shot and then degrade our only true defenses with anti-biotics. Of course this behavior causes different symptoms in each of us but that is why we have doctors to design a custom pill regimen to subdue our body's individual warning signs.
Pasteur had it wrong and even admitted it before his death. Germs are everywhere and can not be avoided no matter what germ killing fantasy we are sold on.
I started a thread intentioned on best ways to boost our immune system that got side tracked over DE an insignificant aid that may or may not be safe or effective.

Hi,
I had an discussion about this the other day, a friend told me, and i always used to agree with him on that, that children being raised overly protected, always indoors, always very clean living due to parents, are way more susceptable catching desease and infection.
Instead kids always dirty and outside seem to have better imuun systems, and are less likely to get sick., whats the resoning about this?
I try to kill plenty of germs and bacteria with some herbs, io, and food could this backfire?
This is something i wonder about i hope you understand my question.
Stay Blessed,
Herbsman

I don't have the answers and when I get an answer it only raises more questions. It seems God designed us with everything we need but he included in his gifts the variable of free choice and it is our choices that determine our life energy. Man can not even begin to fully understand the intricate workings and balance of the human body. It is self repairing given the right conditions of diet, exercise and attitude. Seems the closer we stick to basics without trying to force results using chemicals the better our health and well being is maintained. It is difficult if not impossible in this day and age to avoid all the techno-marvels man has unleashed from Pandora's box. Many so called 'natural' remedies are equally harmful in upsetting this balance as well. We witness this here daily on curezone and brush it off as a healing crisis. I just feel we get too complicated at times trying to figure this all out and do more harm than good. Feeding our immune system with fermented foods is just one example of what I consider the basics.

maybe trying to boost the immune system can be counter-productive and could potentially do more harm than good? It's easy to get too wrapped up in alternative remedies attempting to tip a balance which is better regulated by the wisdom of the body.
An overly active immune system equals inflammation. Auto-immune disorders are associated with this type of immune response. In the pandemic flu 100 years ago the young and healthy had a higher death rate as their strong immune system over responded liquifying lung tissue. It seems every problem always comes back to balance thus keeping it between the lines stands a better chance of keeping you out of the ditch.
counter-weaponized immune system? Not really sure where that brain gas came from. LOL

i read somewhere that the medical texts of the late 1800s were all about purifying the blood because people with clean blood are not as susceptible to getting sick
i guess it takes work to prevent recontamination too
i try not to touch door knobs in public bathrooms and buy soap that has eucalyptus in it
i also heard that in one of the books they tossed out of the bible, Jesus was all about deworming and systemic cleansing
it made me wonder if that is how he gained his ability to heal siddhi
i kinda think they invented auto-immune disorder to throw us off track
i bet people with over active immune systems could calm it down a bit, if they did some systemic cleansing, so there wasn't so many red alert alarms going off all over their bodies screaming at the immune system to wake up
it probably doesn't know where to send help for all the toxins and decides it would be easier to shut down the body than to clean it all up
when bathing with pigs is the preferred way to prevent hookworms, i'm going to live on another planet

This is a difficult subject, which is why I like quoting from it yet ignore the whole.
Certainly if you read it you 'feel' more than one author and more than one truth. If words put together with 'will' can carry a frequency or resonance of being true or false then it may be possible for some to distinguish them.
..as for the bits of Jesus's words in the Bible, well nearly all are written 70-300 years after his death and we all know how pristine that work is..

If you want to stay on this subject you can go back to 1520 and Martin Luther.
Lets tell a part of the story few hear these days, after all propaganda does not want to tell..
The translation to German of the Bible was triggered by Plenary Indulgences, which apparently are available again for Gold..
But underneath it all was the slow destruction of the official bible. Bibles back in those days where copied by hand and every few months a new order comes in from Rome to alter a phrase here and there. Now the monks that do the copying keep track of this in margin notes and soon it became apparent that entire meanings are altered and lost.
Plenary Indulgences was simply the last straw.. Lets not forget that 3 Churchly assasination teams sent to kill him ..

What a wonderful read that was, especially the German passages. Good ol' Marty Luther he tore the Pope to pieces.
I do regret it kept me up past midnight but still worthwhile. I was never taught these details in Confirmation class. Also I haven't been back to church since.

An interesting option for those that read German:
"The Luther Bible and the English standard version rank among the most widely read Bible translations in their linguistic areas. This bilingual edition unites both in one volume. Both texts are printed next to each other in two columns and so they can be compared directly."

I don't read German very well and barely get by speaking it so this side by side comparison will make a wonderful aid to my understanding in more ways than one. Thank You again

thats a pretty big assumption that god did not preserve the message he gives in the bible. its like calling dna "junk".
everyone who is intended to get the message will find it. christianity is a made up religion. take the bible and make your own unique religion. cant do any worse than those who have come before have done.
but just like the deafness that children display to their parents, people dont listen and they dont obey. how the hell can they get anything out of that?

God never gave a message to the Bible. He gave a message to his Prophets and some of that has been added to the Bible, some from Sumarian glyphs and others hundreds of years after the prophet passed.

How about the fasting part? I have been thinking about doing a water fast for years. Now Jesus says it is the only way to get rid of the demons. Has anybody tried it to find out if it works?
