So I've been sick for 2 years now after 5 days worth of Prilosec nearly left me dead. My main complaints today are very poor digestion, dry skin, post nasal drip at night, inability to become tan, chemical and food intolerances, eczema, mild anxiety issues, and strange bruising around my legs. I got checked by my doctor and everything is fine except I am borderline low on Vitamin B12. This is obviously from poor digestion and poor reabsorbtion of B12 from bile.
My stool have been getting progressively worse in the past 6 months. They are now at the point where they are very loose (break apart into dust basically when flushed), very pale (hardly brown, some tinges or orange), and typically half floats in the toilet. It basically shows me that there is hardly any bile being excreted/produced by the liver/gallbladder.
I have realized this and have begun a fresh/whole food vegan diet along with liver flushing every two weeks. I follow the Andreas Moritz version of the Liver Flush to the letter (colonic before and after, 32oz apple juice daily for 6 days, all that). I have done the flush 3 times and each time I expelled around 150 very bright green stones. I just completed my third liver flush yesterday and low and behold, another 150 bright green stones, raging from the size of a poppee seed to the size of a peanut M&M. I went to the bathroom today hoping to see ANY improvement in my stool color/consistency but I haven't. They are still very loose, pale, and float. They show there is still no bile making it into the small and large intestine.
My question is, when should I start to see some normality return to my stool? I'm worried. I'm already beginning to have vitamin deficiences from the lack of digestion and bile. I can't do anything else. I'm maxed out. I'm sure I'm super congested but I figured I would see SOME improvement. Do you think I have exhausted my supply of bile?
Pale stool could mean blockage at the gallbladder neck, meaning you have many more flushes ahead.
Some would say avoid lipids, but that isn't a wise option. I would try some bile salts with every meal to hold you over. Also instead of heavy animal protein, try cottage cheese and egg whites etc.
You can also thin out your bile with bitter herbs (chanca piedra, gold coin grass, milk thistle, dandelion etc.) and lecithin-taurine-glycine, which would make an easier time for bile to sneak around the blockage.
Thank you so much for responding so quickly. It definitely sounds like you know what you're talking about so I got some more questions for ya.
First of all yes, my stools are very pale and not solid. The stool have only a tinge of brown. Where is the gallbladder neck? Have you seen congestion like this before? How many flushes are you thinking? I'm just worried about the vitamin deficiencies I'm developing.
I would definitely not stop eating fats. They are very necessary. What are bile salts? I've seen a lot of negative reviews on them. Are they safe?
And I have some milk thistle supplements! Think those would help thin bile out and reach my small intestine? How does milk thistle do this? Thanks again for all the help man!!!
Also, I saw that I should tumeric with milk thistle. Milk Thistle will thin the bile while tumeric increases bile production and expulsion. How much/many times a day should I use these two supplements?
