Blood Pressure Supplement

Hello HV,
Please take a look at this site, I heard about this supplement on the radio, and I myself have high BP, was wondering what you thought about it. Currently, I take BP meds, but would like to get off them, also taking Magnesium Malate as u have suggested. THanks..

The product is not just for blood pressure.  They have a blood thinner as the main ingredient.  The bonito fish they are claiming is an ACE inhibitor.  I have never looked in to this.  I use ashwagandha as an ACE inhibitor.  It is also a natural beta blocker so it blocks high blood pressure through a couple of mechanisms.

The celery seed is a diuretic so it can help reduce water retention induced high blood pressure.

Carnitine is great for increasing ATP.  This will help strengthen the heart, but will not really affect the blood pressure.

Cranberry is antiseptic, but the studies I have seen show that in powder form it is less effective than the real juice.

Whether or not this would be good for you will depend on if you are on other blood thinners and what exactly your goal is.  If just for high blood pressure then it will also depend on the cause of the high blood pressure.  There is not a singular cause.  Calcium, epinephrine, water retention, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), stimulants, insulin, etc. can all raise blood pressure.
