I have finally confirmed a method I have been working on for a long time which allows me to uncover undetectable parasitic protists from faecal samples.
The method allows the very small components of a complex microorganism to form within a suitable biofilm, and develop cysts. From there, mature forms can germinate and be identified, at least in part.
This method works for parasites like B hominis, amoebae and many other protists.
It also identifies algae-related forms like oomycetes which I have seen infect several people.
Some protozoa break down before microscopic identification is possible, even with fixatives. This method allows the organism to complete a few stages before it breaks apart or is destroyed by bacteria.
Some of these parasites require another host or intermediate host to develop into recognizable forms, so this method activates a stage prior to this, which is good enough to catch them.
can you share it? I am getting tested when I travel to my home country soon and since my sister is a microbiologist, she'll be able to make a culture for me that will allow me to identify what's causing my problems.

A business idea for your sister... Learn to do sigmoidoscopy protozoa tests (if she does not know already) and come to USA and start a clinic... She will be rich :oD or maybe she can do it as medical vacation in her country :o) AFAIK only Cahil does sigmoidoscopy parasite test in USA :o( we need more drs doing this!
and to think Cahill is doing it the old fashioned way.
All my doctors laughed.."you cant have parasites!"
Even an infectious disease doctor told me after I told him my symptoms.."if you were to tell me you had been out of the country I would say it sounds like parasites!"
No, hadnt been out of country
yes, Cahill found a tropical parasite.
Cahill said he had taught other Gastros the technique but they laughed at him and told him they make more money doing colonoscopies.
Sounds like you are a well-informed, inquisitive person seeking real answers to difficult questions. I applaud you.
Personally, I believe my drinking water in TN has fungal spores in it. I have actually retrieved a filamentous fungus from the water which seems to move toward a food source (drain maid from biosmart.} The water company admits there is "algae" in the water, but I believe it is disease-carrying fungus and they either don't know or they are lying.
The EPA closed 2 inquiries I sent them without replying to my concerns. I guess they wrote me off as a crazy. Or, could it be Conspiracy ....
