Germ theory delusions collapse as new science reveals healthy people carry 10,000 different germ strains at all times
|
(NaturalNews) The human body is essentially a "germ" factory, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. A new study published as a series of reports in the journals Nature and Public Library of Science (PLoS) debunks the widely believed germ theory, or the belief that all germs are "bad," by showing that the average, healthy human body harbors more than 10,000 species of microbes that together maintain microbial balance and promote vibrant health.
Funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), the study included a collaboration of 200 scientists from 80 different research institutions, all of whom worked together for five years to gain a better understanding of how microbes affect the human body. And what they discovered is not only fascinating but also revolutionary, at least as far as mainstream medicine is concerned.
In essence, this cohort of field experts uncovered something that many of them had never before considered, mainly that not all bacteria is detrimental. Many types of bacteria are absolutely necessary for the body to thwart inflammation and other disease causing factors, for instance, without which there would be no natural defense against harmful bacteria.
To come to this conclusion, the team first collected tissue samples from 242 healthy adults in the U.S., including from their mouths, noses, and different areas of their skin. They then separated the bacterial DNA from the human DNA in each of the samples in order to analyze the various types of living organisms that were present.
The researchers learned that as much as three percent of a person's total body mass is composed of various microbes, which for the average adult translates into several pounds of microbiome, the name given to the "trillions of individual germs" that live within the body. And this collective microbiome basically ups the total number of human genes from about 22,000 to roughly eight million.
What this means is that the entire human genome depends on this plethora of unique microbes in order to perform vital bodily functions such as digesting food and processing nutrients; resisting disease and building immunity; and maintaining a healthy flora balance in the intestinal system. Without this bacteria, in other words, the human body would not be able to function properly or maintain any semblance of proper immunity.
"This is a whole new way of looking at human biology and human disease, and it's awe-inspiring," said Dr. Phillip Tarr of Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., one of the lead researchers for the study. "These bacteria are not passengers. They are metabolically active. As a community, we now have to reckon with them like we have to reckon with the ecosystem in a forest or a body of water."
Antibiotic drugs, chemicals, vaccines, and other modern interventions destroy human microbiome Unfortunately, many in modern society still cling to the antiquated and disproven notion that disease is primarily caused by germs. Also known as germ theory, this belief assumes that practically all bacteria are harmful, and that if a sanitary, bacteria-free environment can be maintained, humans will not "contract" illness.
It is this flawed germ theory that is responsible for the creation of modern interventions such as antibiotic drugs, chemical pesticides and herbicides, vaccines, and antibacterial soaps, all of which obstruct the human body's natural microbiome in various ways. Hand sanitizing gels and wipes are another byproduct of germ theory, which kill the bacteria that naturally lives on human skin and protect it against disease by maintaining a proper acidic pH.
As we have been saying here at NaturalNews for years now, all germs are not evil, and the human body is not a sterile environment that develops disease because it becomes contaminated with germs. And this new study simply proves this point by demonstrating that germs play a vital role in preventing disease.
Think of it as a war between two countries -- the human body's microbiome against pathogenic invaders. Without a robust microbiome that is rich in beneficial bacteria, the human body is unable to resist the continual onslaught of harmful pathogens that fight against it from both inside and outside the body. And the key to winning the war is to maintain a proper microbial balance, which includes eating plenty of probiotic foods; avoiding antibiotic drugs and toxic chemicals; and getting plenty of rest, clean water, and natural sunlight.

how about a new forum headed by you.
discussing things like symbiosis of bacteria, virus and fungus with the human body, tying up metals, high meat, aged eggs that old chinese men eat, debunking all this crap about germ du jour causing disease, mankind causing mrsa by the overuse of antibiotics, using things like s. boulardi to crowd out 'pathogenic' yeasts, sbo's, dangers of antibiotics, restoring gut flora, pro-bechamp cheerleaders, etc etc etc.
on many forums there is a lot of talk of these things but no central place. many of the people i consider wise on curezone all share the common belief of what you just posted.

I will think about it...
In the meantime, think about this... it is being found that wireless technologies, among others, interfere with DNA replication and repair... it is *NOT* just human cells we should be concerned about here.
What kind of mutations and/or extinctions in other life forms, including microflora, will we encounter?

i shouldn't have included the word human in there. mea culpa.
and the fact that you keyed into that particular mistake shows you are the right man for the job.
i was just thinking about what to call the forum and how to word it, very tricky since it's such a broad topic.

If germ theory were correct, one would think that we would all be constantly wracked with illness due to all those thousands of germs we harbor. Of course, we are getting to the point of all being wracked by illness thanks to toxins, radiation, poor nutrition/food, etc. But, as Antoine Bechamp correctly told us all those years ago, it ain't the bugs, it's the cellular terrain.

yes... and if those weaponized *bugs* Newport likes to write about find a home in a hospitable terrain with no opposition from beneficial flora... well.
Do not give them a home in the first place and they will not bother you.

One Ethylene Chemtrail dump, followed by a mix of critters and its all over. Lack of immune reaction or even lack of antibodies is not a sign of clear health.
Certainly any Research facility claiming healthy people carry millions of bugs without bad effects is using the wrong measuring stick.
To paraphrase Dr. Klinghardt; to be able to test a patient for antibodies he must first be treated to a point of being able to create antibodies..

yes, but you have the same destination. think about it. you are no less right just because the study is flawed.
its like global warming. thats bs. but do we need to stop polluting? you betcha. is it right to use a lie to motivate a group to do the right thing? i dont think so. besides, its not working. people simply see another money making opportunity off the backs of the well intended and misinformed. you cant make money if all the income is used to fix the problem. and if the problem stops, so does the cash flow.

Brothers in Arms: Commensal Bacteria Help Fight Viruses, According to Penn Study

Healthy humans harbor an enormous and diverse group of bacteria and other bugs that live within their intestines. These microbial partners provide beneficial aid in multiple ways – from helping digest food to the development of a healthy immune system. In a new study published online in the journal Immunity, David Artis, PhD, associate professor of Microbiology, and Michael Abt, PhD, a postdoctoral researcher in the Artis lab, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, show that commensal bacteria are also essential to fight off viral infections. "From our studies in mice, we found that signals derived from these beneficial microbes are essential for optimal immune responses to experimental viral infections," says Artis. "In one way we could consider these microbes as our 'brothers in arms' in the fight against infectious diseases." Artis is also an associate professor of Pathobiology in the Penn School of Veterinary Medicine. Signals from commensal bacteria influence immune-cell development and susceptibility to infectious or inflammatory diseases. Commensal microbial communities colonize barrier surfaces of the skin, vaginal, upper respiratory, and gastrointestinal tracts of mammals and consist of bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses. The largest and most diverse microbial communities live in the intestine. Previous studies in patients have associated alterations in bacterial communities with susceptibility to diabetes, obesity, cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, allergy, and other disorders. Despite knowing all of this, exactly how commensal bacteria regulate immunity after being exposed to pathogens is not well understood. To get a better picture of how these live-in bacteria are beneficial, the Artis lab used several lines of investigation. First, they demonstrated that mice -- treated with antibiotics to reduce numbers of commensal bacteria -- exhibit an impaired antiviral immune response and a substantially delayed clearance of a systemic virus or influenza virus that infects the airways. What's more, the treated mice had severely damaged airways and increased rate of death after the experimental influenza virus infection, demonstrating that alterations in commensal bacterial communities can have a negative impact on immunity against viruses. I'll add one more example just because I noticed my Jasmine Rice no longer has Yellow Jasmine in it.
H1N1 and all its varieties use and create a toxin that hides it from your immune system. Lots of info on this even going back to saving thousands during the Spanish Flu outbreak.
Yellow Jasmine (Gelsemium) destroys this toxin. Those who didn't get enough toxin for their constitution began an immune reaction to the virus and died. Those who had enough toxin just kept the virus working away without apparent symptoms.
Those who where given Gelsemium while treating a viral infection survived..
..and don't worry Yellow Jasmine can no longer be imported into the G7..

| we all live on this downtrodden and abused planet... no one here is against holistic approaches, on the contrary, we all pursue them where we can... but the dark side of the NWO is that we all are affected by the engineered pathogens and toxins... some more than others for sure, but don't kid yourself... most have no idea whatsoever what may be lurking hidden in them, no matter how much in harmony with nature one lives. these things were designed to evade and defeat nature (without killing the individual). once you look in pandora's box, you will never look at the world the same way again.

these things were *man-made* for the most part...
Some, most likely *are* produced in the wild as man does not understand what he does. Protein folding errors in biological systems (life) housed in the man over-concentrated populations of polluted CAFOs, cities, what-have-you, could easily produce a *virus*.
*If*, many are saying *when*, the grid goes down, how will people survive without their electrical contraptions? If you are one of those who uses and depends on these things, to clean your water, air, fight off the man made pathogens, whatever, you better have a back up plan. Without one, and never having *trained/conditioned* your body to *naturally* fight off and deal with these things, you're screwed.

| why not use technology while you can? I have turned my life around with Rife and the "the doctrine" that Newport set up... with btw, runs off the grid so to speak for the most part... that was after years of trying all sort of methods that we all discuss day to day here at curezone. only wish that I had gotten over my techno-phobia and dogmatic insistance on being totally "natural" in treatment sooner... that thinking stopped me from chelation therapy as well, which i desperately needed.

we make things more difficult than they need to be... things are really quite simple and very elegant.
Most people miss them.
Chelation itself is very simple.
The problem with totally *natural* is that most people over think it and make it more complicated than it is, or needs to be... and interpret *natural* to mean many different things... including man made chemicals and... dare I say it... expensive supplements, chelation *meds*, etc.
I have experimented with a lot of things, some expensive and dependent on a *power* source... and find simple everyday, and inexpensive things, the best.
Could write all day on it :-)
you chose your path... I chose mine - they both work.
Though I am still experimenting... :-)
Never give up.

one of few issues I have with curezone... and I was here in since the beginning, is that many issues are over simplified... i know this first hand by experimenting with just about every method discussed on the main forums on this web page. yup, tried "natural" chelation methods for years... didn't scratch the surface... we do walk our own path, and I am happy to share what worked for me vs what did not, because I have tried it all.
preferring one type of approach over another is of course a path that all are free to take, but your posts often seem to imply that those who go the chelation or tech route simply don't know about the superior all natural methods available. I suggest to you, not always the case... I prefer empirical results to theory. I go with what works in real world conditions, especially when there is only upside... live is for living, not suffering needlessly.
(edit)
and as an aside, what could be more "natural" than healing through sound/frequency or energy... these are very ancient healing techniques... even a cat's purr has its effect.

>>"and as an aside, what could be more "natural" than healing through sound/frequency or energy... these are very ancient healing techniques... even a cat's purr has its effect."<<
and *every* physical object/thing, *living* or not has its frequencies.
It does seem to come down to that doesn't it?
>>"but your posts often seem to imply that those who go the chelation or tech route simply don't know about the superior all natural methods available."<<
I do not ever remember stating that the all natural route is *superior*, however, I would not have chosen it if I didn't think it the best choice for *me*... in the long run, for reasons that include being able to continue them if the infrastructure around us fails. So yes, at times when I post, it most certainly may seem like I am leaning towards that bias, just as when you post about what you have chosen is your biased account... you have chosen your path because it works for you, and you feel it *superior* to other methods you have *tried*, but for one reason or another, including possibly user error, has failed you, including perhaps any number of what you may define as *natural methods*.
All I am saying is that there are *many* ways to accomplish wellness... so many in fact, over and above the basics of breathing clean air, drinking clean water, eating clean whole foods, getting adequate rest/sleep and exercise, that one really does need to pick a discipline that works, whatever it is and stick with it to realize any sort of long term results.
I have been at this over 10 years now... and I know what really works for *me*, and I will stick with it unless proven otherwise (it no longer works).
We are all different... as illustrated by both your own, and my choices accomplishing the same goals through different methods.
