I have been watching this story play out for weeks now... often reported as a "ufo" underwater... more likely a very old stone structure if not an outright hoax. But still, curious:
Ocean X team returns from their first expedition investigating the mysterious object they discovered in the Baltic Sea.
The expedition was supposed to provide answers, but instead yielded yet more questions.
“We looked at our dive computer, the deep sea diver computer, and it said minus one degree that’s pretty cold for a diver it should really be impossible to have that cold water it actually turns into ice at zero degrees but that could be explained by the movement of the water.”
Also, some strange phenomenon occurred…
A main objective of the dive was to film the object, and yet the camera stopped working when they approached the object.
“Why isn’t anything working, anything electric out there and the satellite phone as well stopped working when we were above the object and then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again and when we got back over the object it didn’t work so that’s kind of strange as well.”
Mr Hogerborn says he has never experienced anything like this during his 20 years as a professional diver.
Dennis Åsberg of the Ocean X team is one hundred percent sure after the first expedition that they have found something quite unusual.
On Monday, June 18, 2012, Whitley Strieber, of UnkownCountry.com, joined George Noory during the opening news segment on Coast to Coast AM to discuss the UFO-like object that was recently discovered deep under the Baltic Sea between Finland and Sweden.
Swedish explorers have put to rest speculation that the object is some sort of spaceship and now belive it’s a natural formation.
George wasted no time on pleasantries with Strieber and cut right to the chase. "Whitley, this is a bizarre story!"
To which, Strieber replied,
"Well, it’s a very interesting story because this object, at some point in the past, was probably above water. In other words, before the end of the last Ice Age, in the area where it is, the sea level was much lower because all the sea water was trapped in the glaciers."
"And, at that time, what appear to be stone fireplaces on the surface of it, may have been in use. And if that’s true, and if there are carbon deposits on those stone surfaces, it’s probably going to be possible to find out about how old it is and when fires were lit there."
"And it could turn out to be on of the oldest human artifacts ever found on the planet, rivaling the age of Gobekli Tepe in Turkey, which has recently been found to be 14,000 years old. This could potentially be a very exciting archaeological find."
Gobekli Tepe is an archaeological site located about eight miles northeast of Sanliurfa, Turkey, not far from the Syrain border. The circles of limestone columns being excavated weigh from 7 to 15 tons each and are estimated to be at least 12,000 years old, making them older than the Egypt, Sumeria and Stonehenge
this is twice now that i have actually perceived a concept and related it before i saw or heard it. its shocking the hell out of me.
this is FYI for my friends here(and mostly for my consumption since its totally unprovable). i aint vetting that shit if it keeps up. i will be in a cage for sure.
same here. this may be the most incredible archeological find in history. with the preservative environment in that deep cold water, we may find anything. maybe even the leftovers from the last meal there. wouldnt that be something?
that was from Casey I think... masonic lore as he was reportedly a high level mason... not sure how much stock i put in that being literally true. besides, i think that Atlantis was reported to be somewhere off the coast of spain... in the "Atlantic" ocean...
