I went straight to ALA only 9 months after getting my Amalgams removed. Since DMSA removes the body burden of mercury specifically, and there are people who say that that helped them feel a lot better, and ALA removes the overall burden (body and brain) by crossing the blood brain barrier, was it a bad idea to start on ALA only? Should I use DMSA later, or can I just continue with ALA only and it'll still work well?
DMSA looks like something I have no choice but to order online if I'm going to get it.
From what I've heard in the groups DMSA is ordered online, often 25 mg caps are used for those doing Cutler's low, frequent dosing; however some are using capsule filling gadgets and get larger caps.
DMSA is quite useful if lead his thought to be involved, otherwise I think Cutler would say you could use just ALA when mercury is the problem. Some also report that sfx are reduced when using DMSA along with ALA. That has been my experience.
Regarding candida, I just take 2 Candex anytime I eat something sugary or something that might cause a flare-up. Otherwise, I don't bother.
I took burdock root for the first time yesterday (thought it might help the liver detox), and experienced very noticeable die-off today. Yup, candida is still here, and I know it's gonna be for a long time. But it doesn't control my life or anything like that.
However, I will say that when I have die-off, I am also less hungry on those days and can go longer without eating, or eating as much.
